Id recomend an AFR guage if yer paranoid about how your car runs, or a oil preasure guage if your worried about its past Spooks

Had a HKS SSQV fitted to mine and I did have a slight drop in MPG, also had flames at certain times I was told but I never saw em. Had no other issues but basically not having the standard (or an uprated recirc for that matter) will knacker the way the car runs, it looks for a certain amount of preasure coming back past the MAF on overrun and when it doesnt see it it just dumps fuel into the cyl's. Leaving it for a Very long time with poor servicing causes bore wash....not good. I can tell you though you get so tired of it when your going through town, you quickly get bored of older people waving you down cause they think your a bus. Now after saying all of that........................doesnt have sound the DB's when driving sensibly through back roads etc............... Rose so misses my dump valve, didnt speak to me for ages after I sold it ......... which was nice Spooks

About alls I can say is I agree with squirrel , you gotta have optimax and octane booster on an import. Knocklink is a must but it dont have make ya paranoid I notice ya said your new to turbo's. please try let em warm up before the inevitable kicking and let then cool down not only at the side of the road, take a few miles off boost as well. Regular oil changes etc will all save yer turbo to fight another day Spooks

Ive suffered this a "few" times with embarrasing results. Subaru do offer a shielded alarm unit but I hear its expensive but they will replace it under exteded warranty. AS everyone else says you gotta get in the right place an be lucky and you can get in or trust the most hopeless keypad entry sytem ever made. Spooks
