  1. Really sore to hear this news mate. I hope the police manage to get your car back or someone on here does see it if they are out and about, I will keep my eye's open thats for sure.
  2. Not sure who it was; but was behind a newage wagon tonight on the m8 east bound just before the m80 slip road, I was in the white classic sti behind you, thanks for the wave and the flash. [Y] Not sure who that plonker was that cut you up was, what a cock. [8o|] I think he got a taste of his own with 2 scooby's all over him. Alan

  6. Thanks for all the positive comments guys, it's much appreciated. [Y][Y]<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> Feeling a good bit better today, I would like to say after a good nights sleep but that did not happen, so lets just say I'm feeling better now a little time has passed. Needless to say I won’t be going anywhere near that side of town again in the Scooby. The mentality of some people is really beyond belief, it's just crazy and for all of this to happen a about 12.30 / 13.00pm in the middle of the day, it’s just BONKERS. Alan.

  8. From what I can remember the rear had a high level spoiler Cullenmin
  9. Thanks for all the positive coments so far guys [Y] I have my Clifford alarm set so it locks the doors when the ignition is on, and the doors unlock when the ignition is turned off, never thought I would have to put it to the test. As for the White Classic in question don't remember a great deal about it, as it came out of now where only really got to see the rear of the car must of been a V4 or V5, high level rear spoiler, It either had a front mount or black mesh in the front of the bumper. Alan.
  10. I know what you mean, you are kinda waiting for the punchline. Well I think if I did not manage to get away as quickly as I did, then forget about punchline I think I would have been the punch bag. Alan.
  11. Hi all, Well I had a very nasty experience today, I was paying B&Q over at parkhead a visit to get some boring gardening stuff, and thought I would pay my folks a little visit as they live not far from there. I was driving to my folks place when a white classic came from no-where and was right up my ar*e, he then over-took me, with traffic coming on the other side of the road, pulled in front, jumped on the brakes and the passenger jumped out with a crow bar..!!! OH FU*K.. WHAT THE FU*K IS GOING ON HERE….. I then quickly put the car into reverse and reversed away as this guy is running towards me with the crow bar, I am now too far from him so he just threw the bar at the front of the car which bounces off the front of the car. Oh you would think that is bad enough… But then from behind me a corsa or some kind of small hatchback appears, and as I was doing a u turn to get away, the driver of the corsa got out, he also had a crow bar and he ran towards the driver’s door of my car and tried to smash the driver’s window! Luckily for me the window held. I then put my foot down to get out of that situation, I don’t like going that fast on public roads but this was called for as I was trying to get to London Rd Police Station as fast as I could as I felt “my life was in danger” and did not know what they would do if they got hold of me. I went through about 2/3 red lights as I didn’t want to stop and get caught by these nutters, I did go through them slowly, with my full beam on and with the horn working over time. I was lucky because when I was driving along Duke St I saw a Police car and 2 officers (did not think I would be so happy to see the police) who took my details down and I gave them all the details I could remember about the passenger of the white classic and the driver of the corsa / hatchback that was behind me. I advised the police that I had to drive through the sets of traffic lights and they advised not to worry about it. Police advised as I did not know the people or know the reg numbers it will be a long shot to find them but the officer did say they will be checking the CCTV around the area with a view of finding the cars involved. If anyone did see me driving along <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /> Duke St at high speed, rest assured this is not the normal way I drive, but when there are crazy people like this out there, needs must to get away. Damage to my car a small 2/3 marks where they tried to smash the window and a dent and 3 scrapes down to the metal in the rear pillar that is next to the rear windscreen. Please be aware that this sort of thing is happening and take care when driving, since I dread to think what could have happened if I was not driving but my partner was instead.
