Well the time had come to get the car mapped by the man him self, crazy to say but I was really nerves my head was working over time all with what if’s.[:$]<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Well I got through all the traffic on the M8 topped up fuel at Dreghorn and it was of to Andy’s, was meant to meet Andy at 10am got there a little early 9am – oh well the sun was out weather was great so I sat out on the harbour reading True Grip [Y]. Andy turns up at 10 and sets to work on the car have to say what a nice guy Andy is and is full of helpful information and his knowledge is endless.
We set out to start mapping 3rd gear stuff 3000rpm to 6000rpm same in 4th gear then flat out burst 2nd, 3rd and 4th, it was really great to watch Andy at work as he sat there with his det cans on, Andy set the car up with 4 different boost settings. Back at Andy’s garage for 12.30 all done the good man then show’s me the full inn’s and out’s of the commander handset what a piece of kit that is well impressed.
Heading back to Glasgow I was driving with a smile the whole way and the car just pulls and pulls all the way through the gears, money well worth spending. [][][]
Thank you again Andy you have another happy customer. [Y]
