  1. What's up mate? Richard - which edition of scooby magazine have you got in at the moment mate?
  2. Morning dudes! Sweet(ish) day today even though am back at work.
  3. Ahhh, thought it was yesterday mate. So I'm early, not late - happy nearly birthday dude!
  4. Belated happy birthday dude! We didn't finish at the four seasons until about midnight and I was too full to drink anything after that so I didn't come out on the lash. Hope you had a good one though dude.
  5. Happy Easter dudes.
  6. I'm going to try and fix the brakes on the rangie, then if I succeed maybe even take the boat out for first run of the year later...
  7. Andi's just got a nice set of gauges himself Dave.... Nice set of gauges Are they much of a fuss to plumb in dude? Going to give Andi a hand with his when I get a chance sometime soon.
  8. Forgot to say Nick - I'm already out for a meal on Saturday evening for a friend's engagement but hopefully that won't be a late one so if you're out hopefully I can meet up afterwards. << Sweet Jim sounds great, I got to do most of that to. take its going to be 550cc injectors etc, do I hear 350bhp >> 440 ones Dave. Mine has 380 as standard. The plan is to get about 320 from it but with the STi gaskets and water injection to keep everything really cool it should be dead reliable, and I figure the lightened flywheel will help it get on boost quicker. Mine's only 220 standard anyway but it's a closed deck block and it's only electronics and engine bolt ons that give it the lower standard power to begin with anyway. Looking forward to seeing Richard's new one too - Jon told me the other night that it's hella sweet!
  9. << Sweet Jim, lots of add ons or just making good? >> Bit of both Dave. Bosch coils already en route from land of Oz = no more spark hesitation problems hopefully Just ordering a new fuel pressure regulator with a pressure gauge now (in case it's a weak link in the fuelling) Getting: New clutch Flywheel lightened TD05 Remap STi triple steel head gaskets Bigger injectors (hopefully) 3 bar map sensor New front tyres And then fit my water injection & uprated front struts that I have. Hopefully will be super sweet with all that done! So the countdown to L-Day2 is on (even though I'm not quite sure when yet.....) Any volunteers? (Bacon butties supplied of course!)
  10. Morning dudes!! Payday and bonus too! I can get almost a grand's worth of goodies for my engine now - it's going to be sweeeeeet!
  11. Yay for Admiral! Get yourself down the impreza shop! There's a WRX on manx.net for 4 grand...
  12. Bizarre that they'll quote you less on a more powerful car with worse handling!
  13. You need two separate policies dude which means building up a second no claims bonus from scratch for the second vehicle. Another way that insurance companies can steal our hard earned money, after all you can only drive one vehicle at a time so why would you need a completely separate policy rather than adding on the same one like a trader can have. It stinks! Try doing a search on here & scoobynet for insurance issues as it'll be a topic that loads of people have discussed so with a bit of digging you should be able to find the best places. You could always get a twin turbo Legacy dude. 280bhp - still get the scoob noise and cheaper insurance!
  14. Tesco?
  15. Afternoon dudes!
  16. Cheers dude. Now to arrange some nice goodies to go in the car......
  17. Yeah was fun cheers dude. Glad to be back now though dude. I think the Rabbit outfit, maid outfit, & gimp mask that we made the stag wear went down well with people though!
  18. All shiny & clean now dudes. Running like a snail though!
  19. Nice Dave! Right dudes, I'm off for a weekend of liver punishment in Prague. Tally ho!
  20. Really nice gauges those and cheap too - would love some but I think I'll be too skint with the rest of the things I'm about to get for the car.
  21. Good man! The guy who's doing them has already fitted them to his so here's how they look on the rear & side windows.... Dude! Stickers - sweeeeet!
  22. I used to go to the nautilus a lot purely to weight train but stopped a few years ago after I had a nerve palsy in my shoulder that stopped me doing any lifting for about 8months. Now I'm doing a bit of weight training to build up a little still but quite a bit of cardio as I want to lose weight/fat to make it easier on my hips & feet for this years parish walk. I wouldn't mind getting into something like kickboxing or karate again (even though it's been donkeys years!) for extra fitness but I'm not after a proper gym membership for a while until I know I'm going to stick with it again. Does feel great to be exercising again though if I still am a fat b'stard! Andi - our printing dude has produced the first example of the Leggy forum stickers. He says they're likely to be around a fiver a set and look like this! www.UKLegacy.com
  23. Glad they've got to you before anything bad has happened mate. I'm 16 stone but apparently have low cholesterol etc so even though they reckon I'm technically obese I'm not that bad as I get a fair bit of exercise & healthy grub. I just started going down the NSC gyn a couple of times a week after I stopped going to the nautilus a few years ago and I'm loving it! Really enjoying the exercise and I'm sure you will after you've done it for a while even though it will be very tough going to begin with. Important thing is to take it relatively easy to start and gradually build up your fitness as trying too much at first could be even worse. Which Gym to you go to Jimmy? Me and the mrs tend to go down the NSC on tuesday or wednesday nights & sunday afternoons so happy if anyone else wants to come down the same time.
  24. Morning dudes! Off to prague for the weekend tomorrow. Sweet!
  25. Senile maybe but not old mate.
