The site is for any kind of RC at all dudes. Just want to get interested people together so it's easier to arrange meets/ races etc. We were up at the BMX track this avvy but my savage was having gearchange problems. Wasn't the old track at Geln Maye somewhere? Dave - You might know Kevan, one the forum members he was in the club a long time I think. Track will hopfully begin construction next weekend if all goes to plan. We have to bury an old JCB before we can begin though!!! ? All will be welcome to race though, just sign up on the forum. Very nice mate! Am chuffed as anything just now. Set up my RC forum only a few weeks ago (www.iomrc.com) and one of the lads who's joined has got a spare half acre of land on his farm that we can use to build a racetrack! Just been up there for a look and it's perfect! Couldn't have asked for more! Happy days!

Good man Andi - congratulations mate. Hopefully it might be getting a little easier for you now you've had that crap out of your system for a bit? I tried making a start on Saturday by just having one cigarette in the pub for a whole evening instead of having a pack. I'm not out this weekend I don't think so that means I should be able to go a second week without having any myself. Not tried quitting properly before so it could be interesting! I'll have to get some tips from you mate.

Well at the moment it runs horrible until it's full warmed up. Coughing stuttering & backfiring although if I'm naughty & use boost when it's doing this it seems ok. Seems fine once it's warm though. Not sure what's causing that. Have got new resonator & intercooler pump to go on, just didn't get round to it at the weekend. Spud's MAF might help so I'll get a cheque off to him tonight! Good chance I'm going to buy a walbro pump for it too shortly as I think maybe the knocking is due to leaning out at higher boost if the old pump is a bit tired... Sweeeet!

Number 5 is alive! Router is a Draytec model, a 2600 or something. The sort of cack that keeps getting through are the kind of messages that appear on screen saying "Your system is infected with spyware, blah blah blah". Doesn't seem to be anything especially vicious on there now, just annoying things as I like a clean system. Not swede!
