Morning dudes - sweet day again!!! Now, error code 45 anyone?

Fingers crossed then Andi! Guess what mate? There's bugger all wrong with that ecu of mine - it just needed the wires connecting to reconnect the jumper resistor inside that was cut. DOH!!!! Still have a fault though, error 45, something to do with boost.....

Not likely - mine's doing 12mpg at the moment with this wrx ecu!!!

Excellent mate - very glad to hear that! Fingers crossed eh!! My new ECU very much didn't go well. Didn't go at all in fact - car won't run with it in so I still have to use the dodgy WRX one. Me going to cry!

Ha ha. I noticed some insult from him on MSN this morning but I was late so I didn't have time to throw one back to the batty boy!

Ha ha! Cheers Richard - didn't quite spot you - I did see a blue one I think with pimp tints coming the other way but was a bit busy swearing at the car to wave as I wasn't sure who it was! I've destroyed the ECU and have had to fit the WRX one I've got which runs like a bag of crap! The car is boosting a lot still but must have the wrong ignition map or something as it holds back something terrible and struggles to go up hills & chucks out black smoke from an obviously overrich mix. BUT, I've got a 16 bit legacy ECU on the way now and will have a VOSchip coming in a couple of weeks. Specially designed for the Legacy and should take it to around 280-300 once that's fitted in conjunction with the new turbo. Just drives like a bag of spanners in the meantime.
