Morning dudes! Don't worry Andi mate - it might not turn out to be that bad. Fingers crossed... Gearbox wise as far as I know it would bolt onto to most classic imprezas up to a certain year, but I'm pretty sure you would also have to fit the matching rear diff.

Find out a list from him of what needs doing mate and how much it'll cost. There's always breakers to buy parts from mate, but I suppose if loads needs replacing it could be quite tricky to flog it once you add on repairs costs.

I went out in the boat to watch and found it was cancelled because of bloody basking sharks. Only got 1 tiny fish too. Grrr! Still, the car is running really quite well now but still need some fine tuning on the boost controller to get things just right. Just got myself another couple of goodies bought on Ebay This: Apexi SAFC So I can add more fuel into the mix under heavy load/high boost points to make sure the mix isn't lean anywhere. And this: Apexi air filter To replace my really tatty, shagged cone filter. Bring on the power!

Going pretty well at the moment mate - touch wood! Tried testing the water injection yesterday but the hosing isn't secure enough as it blew off and it pumped all the water from the washer tank out in a few seconds!!!! Think the pressure switch is a bit dodgy too so not sure what's the best way to get round that. Will be nice once it's sorted out though. Just looking at getting a new apexi air filter too - they're one of the best ones from tests and you can get them new on Ebay for about £45 inc the postage.......

That looks spot on Dave - you must be quite chuffed with it all. Get the boat? Did you do all this away or are going away? Got my water injection kit mostly installed (temporarily for now) and hoping to get my new intercooler pump todayish too. Once both those are running it should hopefully make a VERY noticeable difference....

Problem solved - found the hose between the charge cooler (heater at the moment!!) and the throttle body was not on right and must have been leaking boost.
