  5. The time has come to get my insurance quotes sorted. I have decided to go with Budget as they can offer me the best deal seeing as i don't have any NCB's yet. (Or do i? ) Whats against me: I'm 22, so fairly young Car: 1998/99 Subaru Impreza Terzo (The one I've decided to go with) Only 5 years NCB's (With thanks to my Friend at Budget) Will walk away with 6 and be able to go elsewhere for cheaper after a year with them My Quote is ..... Wait for it £2816.36 and it'll be worth every penny. I'm paying £1100 for my car at the moment anyway! Kim

  7. I bought my parents a Road Angel from Ebay. They are slightly cheaper on there, starting around £300 for a brand new 2004 edition Kim
  8. I'm due to buy an Impreza Turbo in the next 4-6 weeks. I've driven one WRX but only briefly. I'm coming from a 1.6 car, but have driven many other High Performance cars (From Corvette's, Mustangs, Camaros Etc Etc) but not owned any. Is it adviseable to get the "feel" for a high perfomance car by going on a Track Performance Experience? Lotus/Focus/Impreza Turbo Experience "Four different performance driving experiences. Starting with course familiarisation in a Ford Focus, followed by a session in a single seater racing car, then the Subaru Impreza WRX and culminating in the incomparable Lotus Elise. The Lotus Elise has set typical Lotus standards, with its innovative design, second to none handling and tremendous performance, in short the ideal track car" Briefing 2 passenger instruction laps in Ford Focus 3 driving analysis laps in Ford Focus 6 laps in Formula Ford racing car 5 laps in Subaru Impreza WRX 5 laps in Lotus Elise Debriefing and presentation of souvenir certificate Personal accident insurance Price: £321 Any suggestions please Guys & Gals?? Thanks Kim
  9. Nokia 7200, Flip Phone on 02. Dirt Cheap and 02 have great bolt on's if needed. I got mine for £20 for the phone and around £35 for line rental Plus a Text Bolt on. I've always been a Nokia user and wouldn't use anything else, so maybe it's a biast opinion but i do recommend the New Nokia 7200. The best Nokia i've ever bought. Kim
  10. Did you know that if you don't have any NCB's you can still get a policy with FULL NCB's for how long you've been driving? I have been driving nearly 5 years and only get my first NCB's in November. Any insurance company can do this, they just choose not to. I've got a friend who works for Budget Insurance who told me this, it's bascially their way of getting more money out of you. When I get my Impreza I shall go with Budget for 1 year and walk away with 6 years NCB's and it's completely Legal. Kim
  11. whoops, i meant £348 for the 1.6 and £700ish for the 2.0 sport Kim
  12. Welcome to the forum matey I got quoted £348 for a 1.6 or 2.0 Scoob, then asked about a WRX.... ooohh around £2880, will be worth it though. That's with 5 years NCB's, not that I've got any but if you know the right people And i'm only 22 hehee Kim
  13. I can't really recommend any insurance company's for Subaru's, But I shall recommend Tesco's as they were the only ones that would cover me for my current car. Being 21 when I first took the policy out, no one else bar Adrian Flux would touch me. Adrian couldn't beat Tesco's for my policy Kim
  14. Best of Luck Mate. I find out in a few weeks whether i still have a job or get made redundant Still buying the scoob though Kim
  15. Hello and welcome to SIDC Nice car matey Kim
