Bump - is no-one else excited about this ! WRC + Ashphalt gives me a Packy Bonnar -
Thanks guys Looks like I'll go for Prodrive springs and drop links ........ . Is it only Subaru UK that stocks these springs ? I'll need to look into the brakes as they are CRAP !!! The old Honda CTR's brakes were immense as standard and I really miss em'. In a TG test they "outbroke" a 911 and once lasted 15 hard assed laps at KH with no fade Cheers Cal

I have read lots on SN about this after hearty searching but thought I'd ask in here too ? What do I need to spend to improve the chassis set-up on a moderate budget ? Eibachs or prodrive springs ? Should I bother with drop links and if so just the rears ? Thanks in advance Cal

Any people work offshore (Aberdeen)???
~ ~ Cal ~~ replied to chris_darling's topic in Scottish Scoobies
I keep on meaning to mention that one of the biggest bonuses of working offshore is that you can pretty much live where ever you wish (within reason ). Usually, you are not tied to an onshore location and I know of lots of folk who stay in france, spain and even Thailand.. -

I assume you have all seen this ? Who fertit' ? ! --------------- ABERDEEN MAN PUTS WIND UP AFRICANS ------------------ ANDY PHILIP 09:00 - 12 August 2005 An Aberdeen man caused a strain in international relations after he fell foul of what were termed cultural differences with colleagues in an African oil industry office. The employee was on loan from Schlumberger's city offices to Gabon, west Africa, when he ran into trouble. Offended co-workers filled in an official "hazardous situation report" to bosses, complaining about the employee's flatulence. They said he claimed it was normal behaviour where he came from. The report, filed under "biohazard", suggested a closed office environment could not cope with the problem and that people's health and work performance was being affected. Health and safety officials drafted a warning to the worker, highlighting cultural differences. "If this behaviour is normal where you come from, you should know you are on international ground and should respect other people's health and culture," it stated. He was invited to discuss his habit at a Monday morning meeting and assured managers would assist in "understanding the intercultural environment where we all live and work". It was also suggested that all workers from Aberdeen should be warned that such behaviour was not a joke. Drawing attention to potential cross-cultural pitfalls, Graeme Anthony, North Sea operations manager with Schlumberger, said: "We work with many cultures and in some of them, certain things aren't acceptable. "Some people say that passing wind is offensive, but the guy from Aberdeen obviously thought it was a joke." He said the report was now closed and defended the confusion over international etiquette. "In some countries, it's offensive to take off shoes," he said. "We don't have a list of everything that can and can't be done in every country. I doubt it would be acceptable behaviour here either, but he was probably just being a normal Aberdeen loon." According to the hazard report, information will be handed out at the west African office warning all new employees that public displays of flatulence will not be tolerated. -
Dave - sounds good - is that thing MAF friendly as I may consider one if it is The exhaust is still a WR Sport BB but is now mated to an Afterburner unresonated centre pipe and Afterburner decat centre - very burbley and very bassy - me like it very much from 0 - 6000 revs Stephen - initally i was nailing on the highways until i saw the signs they had up sayng that if you were caught doing a paltry 80 mph you'd be fine about $270 ! Feck that Talking with my cousins they tell me that they do have a points system and start off with 10 and if you drop to zero it's by bye license. This was for Ontario so it may be different elsewhere Cheers Cal
