  4. Sideways was the word of the day !! Fisrt of theanks to JohnS - a true credit to the club with excellent organisational commitment once again.... Thanks also to WheelsAround - lovin' my 4 new Toyo T1-R in the wet I have some video footage but having grief with my site at the moment so please be patient as I'm also in Holland this week. Loved it when it dried up but still enjoyed the wet ( the baldy RE070's denied me my usual confidence though ) I believe I got sideways ( alneit pretty minor) at the hairpin but deffo got some lateral action at Clarke's I cannot get enough of these track days. they are so hectic though so I'd welcome the all-day one so we can have more chat, eating, cooling down time, less red flags etc etc.... Thanks to all for the photos - they are MEGA Rgds Cal

Didn't really get a proper chance to catch up with you at KH......what else have you had done lateley you mischevious old dawg Uncle Russell does a sterling job so I may call upon his services to fit some braided hoses and dot 5.1 fluid ! Marc is also a top bloke and should rent out his modding bat cave by the hour ! Cheers Cal
  6. << 62 degrees Cal...you havin a laugh at my expense..... or have I read it wrong.... >> Nope ............ That what it said on my K&N instructions !
  7. Only just noticed this thread ......... --- Rest in peace Paul --- I will spare many thoughts for Paul and his family tomorrow, I didn't know him but it sounds like he was a ridiculously popular guy. It would be nice to have black circles ( track stickers) for those going on track tommorow as a mark of respect......... Sounds like Kate will be in good hands with plenty of people to support her - she must let the good memories carry her forward Take care guys Best Regards Calum
  8. Be careful fitting it or you'll get all sorts of crap in the air box so :- 1. make sure the slots are seated properly at the back of the box ( slide them in at 62° ) 2. make sure the rubber edge of the panel filter is nice & secure all round the edges Cal
  9. Type 25 ................end of ! You know you wanna ! If it ain't got a burble then it's not worth owning
  10. Apart from my obvious regi plate you can recognise me at KH byt Scooby jacket, NYC cap @ NON chav angle, and green long sleeved top Make sure you say hi as I'm fed up missing folk at these events whom I haven't met before ( I wont be online again now ........) Cheers Cal
  11. << Don't tell me your not happy M8 Russell >> Negative ghost rider I had Natalie do a fly-by and it sounds GREEEAATTT !! It's a deeper more growly note but the WR Sport sounds better in the cabin
  12. Lts no get confused here - are the MAF's on new ages not more robust than the ones on Classics ? Not getting at you - just want to distinguish between the two so that we can help Pete out Pete w.r.t "I have a downpipe decat, back centre replacement pipe, STi backbox and I will get rid of the centre cat soon. I do want to increase the power next year with a remap at some point as well." >>>> i think you ought to buy my Prodrive BB - I'm so convinced that you wont be dissapointed that I'll give you your money back if you don't like it ! You will be an awesome burble will full decat and will see a bug difference over more restrictive the STi BB See you tommorow at KH Cheers Cal
  13. << Cal:Are you not from up north m8 >> Many folk are baffled by this I got two cribs in GLA & ABZ.........I usually go to KH from GLA unless it's during the week. Guys - I won't be nailing it from the bridge to KH - Optimax will be a precious commodity on track so I'll be going easy on the fun pedal till i reach KH's hallowed asphalt Rgds Cal
  14. Coming off my car this sunday at KH :- 225/45/17 Bridgestone RE070's ( Four of them ) They will get binned unless someone wants them - they are legal at present but may not be by the time I'm finished with them Cheers Cal p.s I know my signature is causing grief, sorry folks, IT are on it apparently
  15. 1. Cal ................WRX 2002 Hope it's dry as my RE70's are bordering on illegal so getting 4 new tyres from Wheelsaround after the session
  16. Fitted a ScoobySport back box tonight with muchos thanks to Marc ( Boyakasha) & Russell (WUZ). Not so much louder as different and pops more. I'm gonna miss the WR to be honest Was I at warp speed on the Dundee NSL section ? I believe i may have been dispatching a schmuck in a beemer CGS
  17. click me big boy ......... Soundz good ............. will the man himself be there ?
  18. Yip true Russell - when i think about it AWD had two guys on the job so 2 hrs sound about right
  19. Yes you can but it might get on your thrupennies after a while plus you may not know of another problem the ECU's warning of you'll assume it's related to the downpipe. CEL - check engine light You should be okay on a new age without remap but best to get one in the long term CS
  20. I'm tempted as 4 Toyos are costing me £348 from Wheelsaround - still a good deal as VAT & fitting is included But with the link above - essentially the alloys are free along with new RE070's CS
  21. They could do it but Russell a.k.a WUZ will do it cheaper Takes about an hour and the downpipe had to be cool enough to work on.... Remember you might need a CEL fix. Mine was okay for about 4 days until the CEL came on. Time for a remap to take full advantage Cheers Cal
