  1. Sounds very similiar to mine ......... http://forums.sidc.co.uk/forums/771866/ShowPost.aspx You cannot beat a good map tweak eh ? What mods are you running ? Rgds Cal
  2. Glad that Doctor Forrest performed as well expected............he is a Scooby legend......... Get yer chariot on a dyno..........bet your torque figure is right up with a nicer shoulder ? Cheers & enjoy Cal
  3. Imagine the below with no decals and you'll catch my drift CGS
  4. Zed one oh oh oh Blue and Silver like Fai's looks really nice IMO...........still like gold but silver looks clean and tidy..............[] CGS
  5. Funny you should mention The Stig ! Just bought this for my old boys xmas from Ebay Right enough Stevie....................sometimes £200 spent on road going high performance tuition would be way more effective than some mods. My work have put me on 3 advanced drive training days on B-roads and skid pan training. All 3 days were immense........other than driving safely, they taught you to read the road like you would not believe. ( a point Ally-B made too) As for being content.................I spend my evenings watching anti-lag footage on the net. So I dont think I will ever be fully content so sensible modding is the way forward in the meantime. If it wasn't for Knockhill and the Tinternet I would not be such a jibbering modding ho' [] Ach aye ! CGS
  6. GT35 spooling sounds sweet ! http://mag.subiesport.com/index.php?option...8&Itemid=48 CGS
  7. Don't hate the player hate the game boyo ! Jaysus it was a passing to comment to reflect the fact that I should by happy with my car given that i could smoke the majority of the motoring public on a B-road. 280 might sound hee haw but with uprated brakes and some suspension mods I can urinate on a lot of joe-publics bonnets. If I had said "smoke 98% of the SIDC on a dual carriage way " then you could mock my phrase........ Back on topic..............as the yanks say " enough already " [] Cal p.s you missed the new erse bit []
  8. " When the essential juices are up to temperature .....gie it laldy guv "
  9. " Russell went to beyond the call of duty to attract the Dundee dogging community"
  10. Guvna........I am referring to the UK in it's entirety mon amigo ! Pensioners included ! and I did state B-road. Playing 5-sides tonight I heard about 5 Scoobies horsing around nearby. The exhaust note of a Scooby is just ridiculoulsy appealing although that V8 Ultima left me speechless.... I cant believe how long I have gone without suspension tinkering though.......I like the ride of the WRX but the way it's rolls is a tad un-nerving. Whiteline gear is the daddy Bing - if you sell that car you are a bigger diddy than me ! CGS
  11. Thinking to myself, where do you stop ? Some thoughts ....... I am 30 and weans are no doubt on the horizon ( currently in intensive training [] my WRX spools VERY quickly and pulls like a train on the Stockie Rd last Sunday it blew me away, great brakes and immense damping of bumps, cambers, less roll. it is an everyday runner and does a sterling job, looks and sounds immense (IMO) lucky if I am getting 1 track day a year at the moment [] so do I need more ponies Other than prodrive springs / geom. set up I dont REALLY need anything else.....I can rip pretty much 98% of the population and new erse on a back road so why long for more. I guess it's caveman thing where flames and power yield a firmer storky and increase ones inner automotive mojo Do you guys have similar thoughts ? Sometimes feel guilty for spending too much but then again I dont swally like I used to and cars are my hobby. I yearn for a louder can but then again I love the one I have just now Is anyone out there content ?! Do you long for another marque ? I cannot see me getting anything else other than another Scooby Cal
  12. Anthracite or Gun Metal Grey it is then !! In my heart of hearts I know this is the best option although white would be super fly. Thanks again ( especially The Welsho & Wuz) Cal
  13. I have another wedding ....meh !! Have fun chaps and stay safe ! May the best 4WD / man combo win on the day......skill is worth way more than brute power on this little belter of a course Cheers Cal
  14. THANKS GUYS !! LEGENDARY RESPONSE Major dillema now [] Tein Green would be cool furra track and the orange is swell too.... Loving the white but they would not be "persil" for too long in the'deens winters Hmmmmm.... CGS
  15. Anyone have the necessary skills to make these white ? Any other views on what colour to choose please chime in [] Thanks in advance Cal
  16. Hey fellas, I was only there for a couple of hours and drove round the track with my faither for some spectating ! Hardly saw anyone for very long as I had to leave and go on the sesh before hitting Hampden Some saw good sideways action and flames though ! Didn't even realise that WUZ was there [:$] Cheers Cal

  19. That's a nice useable amount of power and torque in my opinion................think of the overall package. Your money might be better spent on brakes and suspension. 12 way AST adjustable suspension would be a nice addition...... Otherwise it's a larger bore exhaust system and bigger turbo + remap ? Cheers CGS
  20. You'll get 10% off your dyno run for being an SIDC member CGS
  21. I cannot make it folks, I had already made arrangements........apologies CGS
  22. Thanks to WUZ and his numerous cups of tea I got this kit fitted today......... The back ( on the middle setting) is very keen to step out which makes a refreshing change to understeer at roundabout. Not got the confidence to fully exploit it today as it was VERY wet. The car feels a lot more planted and taught so I am well pleased with the results. Thanks again Russell...........top notch job my silicone smeared amigo ! Cheers Cal
  23. Hey Kev, You'll get mixed opinions on this one :- http://bbs.scoobynet.com/my01-02-downpipe-...ht=warranty+big http://bbs.scoobynet.com/decat-straight-th...ght=decat+remap I would get a remap for peace of mind and optimum gains if I were you Cheers CGS
  24. I dont know who it was but somebody...........
  25. I dont know why they wont come out as a straightforward list ? The first ones are shops and the second ones are some that I have gathered ! CGS
