yeh i can't blame the bloke for lookng in to it, i would do the same.... must be very fustrating for him, just that it's dragged on for a week now not knowing what the hell was wrong, even up to checking the vin and chassis number, they were saying "yes mate we got a match" they were rreading from a sheet.....as it was being checked.....i thought it was the nicked one!!!.....they said no fine mate and sorry but they have to do this. then told me what the reason was,

yes dipsy, i feel a whole lot better, made me feel sick tbh, missus had a doctors appointment and i know she felt better too when she left.

Right the stolen car squad have just been, in an unmarked ford focus me standing there looking like a prat waiting for them in a marked car

anyway...... the car is fine, they checked it over and all matched,

the story is, a guy spotted it on ebay, he had he's stolen recently and this was a spit of it, barring the plates!.

the details of his car didn't match my one and it hadn't been tampered with, so it's all ok

let the spending begin..... sensible spending that is, (looking for credit card)...

i had another visit today ... while i was at work again, missus is getting anoyed!.... it's been passed to chelmsford vehicle unit, and i have an appointment monday morning ....... what the hells going on!!??.. they won't say exactly but they just want to clear it up, and got to show them all the paper work i got with it, there are lot of bills ect... all good, old mot's, tax disc's ....and reciepts from when i got it.

nothing to hide it's come back as clear ..no recorded stolen or any changes!?... so any ideas

it would of been just my luck too, thinking to myself this is payback for taking a chance buying another scoob,.... thought it was going to be towed away!!! ... so far so good, they said don't worry and enjoy it, as he used to have one but sold it when he joined the police as he didn't want to lose his job .... he also said drive it properly wink wink

put the scoob on driveway to have a sort out on sunday, took me focus to work...... just to work 8am and me missus phoned me panicing, saying the police were here to look at the car as it's been reported stolen!.....to say how i felt was immpossible, and was worried about me missus as she ain't well and dealing with it, all kinds of things going through me mind, i checked the car out so inside i was confident... i was waiting for a call back to come home, i had to phone back..couldn't wait.....

they said all was ok, may of been someone pasing and recognised the car, thinking it another that is missing..... it may of been stolen in past they said....and saying that...there is a spare set of locks in glove box...one with a screwdriver been rammed in it. nothing recorded though,

now i'm going through it real fussy,..... it's in bits!!!!!

yeh fitted whiteline complete kit front and rear, 22mm adjustable, by this means you get a choice of settings on the end , the shorter the stiffer, imagine the bar at the end with 3 holes to fix the bolt on to the drop link ect... had mine in the middle, i think you get a choice of 2 holes on the front..(it's been a while ) alloy drop links too, yellow and silver, ... made car in to a go-cart:D

not cheap these days though, i paid £280 for the whole lot a couple of year ago,.... think you can add another ton on top now

dipsy, hello matey, yeh she's not too bad, no rust.few dings the worse one on back n/s door, but quite clean for 15 year old it's been botched in places, like the dump valve too tight and broke the i/c pipe, air box only 2 srews holding it, throttle cable was caught up and tight, idle valve was put in wonky, catching the cable under the i/c mount,...it goes on!!........ but i'm getting there, i've got to straighten the floor pans, and sort a blowing exhaust out, ....

yeh don't worry em, like hairy said it's been done before.. i think it's great

i got the same response when i advertised in the friday ad paper, just like the ad trader. numorous e-mails, texts, phone calls, they even said there was someone arriving at my house with £1000 more than advertised and were taking the car straight away, i just needed to pay for a credit search or something!!!!!.... same reply.... and i threatened them with other things i'm not proud of but they got message,

hello matey, welcome to the club, my first scoob was a green uk wagon, 10k later 311bhp and real nice..... then after 4 years i had to get rid of......... .... ben driving a ford focus tddi since... but then had to get another scoob last night ... it was killing me hearing them go past my house all night,.... so now i've got a oil burning family car......and an ozone burning family car too

couple of clearer piccies -- my94 wrx,

due to be stripped down to get rid of any scrappy bits and renew the missing bits, oil,filter, air filter, change dump valve,(if anyone wants a change from dv26 ?....to a dv36) inspect all floor pans and straighten where needed clean the sensers, pipe work, new front bumper (again if you want this bumper it's going cheap but it needs a little repair,he hit curb!) going to go through with a fine tooth comb to get it to what i want, and sort out the poxy oil leak......

Don't going hideing that card to far away.... you know that you are going to need it to get the front mount and decat done

yeh injectors , apexi, superlegeras, tsl system, gauges, 4 pots, induction kit, anti roll bars, remap, ............... oh i just spent 10k again
