can't quite see properly but have another look if you will..... abs is a alloy looking rectangular unit only about 4-5 inches long with micro bore pipes coming out of it... and can be a pain in the ar5e... tempremental things
-
previous driver may of had a dvd monitor screen or similar, which would turn off while driving ?..ain't got a clue how they wire up so.....
-
-
i had 22mm adjustable arb's and alloy links front and rear, all whiteline. my geo settings were close to prodrive anyway.... need to get checked again though
-
funny you say 'lane way'!!!.... 3/4 of my journey to work is down twisty turny B road, love it untill you catch a 30mph'er
-
hello matey, welcome to the club, glad your enjoying scoobyship
yes..wave at every scooby you see.... even the oap's in 1.8 gl's
200 miles to a tank is a good average i think, i only got 176 last week time to get a diesel for work
-
hi matey, nice classic there, having fun in the snow i see.....we used to get snow...the goverment blame de-catted cars for global warming.......sh!t happens....
-
hi mate, i had lowered springs previous which were -30mm then changed my whole set up for prodrive and eibach combo, i felt the same as you mate!!!... that little extra higher doesn't look quite right... better for speed humps though. have a look on my profile ..i'm sure i've got old piccies with lower set up and a recent one (with the front mount fitted) with eibach springs fitted. i think they are only 20mm lower than standard, they might settle a bit too.

yeh don't get down hearted mate, it's very possible you can have a supprise, i can't give you any clues coz i'm 34 and have full no claims, but i pay £360 for a modded uk wagon, would of been £294 if it weren't for the mods declared...only tpft by the way .... i use gary moulson @keith michaels, cheapest i found well worth ringing him matey, i'll put the number up if no-one else beats me to it,
as for running cost,.... 200 miles to a tank on average for me, 23 mpg if i don't boot it. 19 at most if i do.
regular visits to shell garage they can be very reliable motors, treat with respect to achieve this though, i use mine every day for work and i've never had a break down since i got her back in aug 04, got 155000 on it now and now pushing 311bhp...(replacement engine 10,000 ago ..started fresh being as i was modding) it's all the silly a***s out there that fook it up for the bona fida drivers, you get enough attention just driving at 30mph.... all you get doing over the limit showing off are more boy racer tags which are not needed. so there you go.... get a quote, sum it all up... behave and enjoy.
>>> try these numbers,,ask for Gary moulson @ keith michaels.....02082880275 02086427868 08450138231 one of those is the direct number but they'll put you right,...he's very busy too
-
i will shoot them
-
gary @ keith michaels does me too,
-
hey you!!!... we ain't THAT close
used him since i've had the scoob, 2004.... as for those 'prices'

I may have seen you also about, heading up to point clear in the mornings always gave a wave and got one back. Also was your car owned by Andy ages ago, and does it pop and bang whilst spitting flames out the exhaust?
he didn't own it but it was in his garage more than it was on my drive, it did bang pop and spit flames....not so much now though ... i'm only in clacton on a thursday now so seeing me would be rare.
andy did have a green wagon at his last year, got most of the bits on mine now

Im english by birth but i have settled in Moira, mine is an Sti Version 1 mate, as far as i know its the only one in NI! Im away again now working its a shame because i could have sorted the car for you if you were stuck! I dont really know your end of the country to recommend a place to do the work! I can tel you to keep away from a certain so called specialist in Lisburn! I put the feelers out to see what he came up with and he qouted 1k to change the front seal!!
king hell!!!....bet he don't do many

hi mate, yes really nice motor... wheels are lovely, wanted those before i got superleggeras. good to have an unmolested car .... nice one... do what you have to do but properly....

hi mate, welcome to the club... may of seen you about then ... used to live in point clear then moved to little oakley in 2006,. i use andy too...he uses me .. see if he'll answer this question.... what the fook is he doing with the blue vw transporter of mine sitting there since june? .. he'll understand.
anyway nice motor matey, keep your eye out for a classic green wagon with large top spoiler and super leggeras, it could be me.... with a face like a bull dog chewing a wasp.

mmm!, nice motors,... wish they'd do somthing like that around here, there's enough bl00dy scoobs
who's garden was it in then great piccies though, good examples.

yeh agree with stu, sounds like crank seal, it'll blow oil all underside and smoke a bit when it hits the exhaust. and yes worth doing belt and pump, save you a couple of hundred quid or more if you need them after,...i did it, i think the pump is essential imho, and the belt gives you another few year before you change it again,
oh yes, as mentioned ... not bullet proof motors.. but will do you proud if you treat it with respect, go no faster at 7k than 5500k...but saves your engine... i've only been up to 6k once in last month but still get the wheels spinning

i'd say defo yeso to re-map very soon... still use it yes no probs just i wouldn't drive it tall untill re-map.. but your going the right route though mate, should get some good figures, remember your mines ecu will be quite aggressive, it's a jap one so it's mapped for 100ron, use booster if you can with v power, i recon you'll get some bangs and pops with it too i had a zerosports ecu and was similar to yours... i had all the work done then got an apexi power fc..... £460..then re-map.£250.. 311bhp uk wagon.
