another vote for Gary moulson, mention the club and send him a xmas card and he may knock some off (members get discount) my uk turbo cost me £360 all mods declared, old git and FNC though forget a P1 as mentioned ..on that budget 11K upwards i recon for a decent one, you'll get a real good uk turbo with change for mods and insurance, set your self a goal, don't buy everything and anything that come up for grabs, do it proper the first time and you'll save a lot of dosh, i've spent nearly 6k on my car as it is now, or 10k if i count the bits i bought and changed for different bits, i've bought induction kits / dump valves / 3 lots of suspension / wheels / numerous back boxes....ect....ect.....sold them and bought back again oh yes... if your going for power... start with your brakes... makes sense and you'll thank me good luck mark

Hi mate, glad you like the scoob ... it's not a major job mate, it seems so at first but really it's straight forward. all you do is take the 4 screws out the trim which holds the switches ( fog light, mirror adjuster ect...) then one one unplug the switches from behind and put trim to one side, there are 4 more screws holding the cluster in, take these out and your nearly there, now mine is a my96 and has electronic speedo so i presume yours is the same, it seemed easier to do right hand first ..pull out as far as you can ..you can wiggle it in and out a bit just so you can take the long plug of...then do the same with the other side ....this just gives you room to get inside now..... you can get the cluster out enough to get your fingers in and twist out the bulbs, (they are the same as your side lights) i changed mine for led cluster white ones and looks supurb, i think there were 6 in total. any hassle mate just yell, mark

LOL..!!.. i used to have the H&S jap style before i moved.... those lovely quite mornings..... then start her up i had 1/2 mile of speed humps so it was first gear all the way as it was 10 mph max there, nobody got a lay in and my missus could still hear me after 5 mins, had to change it when we moved to a mid terrace with very short drive way...... boy i miss it oh yes ..... getting a bit restless ... i'm not very patient when i'm not in control, maybe they'll phone me tomorrow

Just typical.. they phoned this morning to say they got trouble with the rolling road.. ok for 2 wd but the 4wd isn't working and can't get it fixed in time,.......will be informed in a day or two if i can get back in this week. hope so.

1.4 bar thats about 20 psi ?? can't remember!.. my old set up was 18 psi had to use dawes device to get it down a bit and make it safe, i'm getting lots of over boost at mo now back to complete standard ecu, tried 2 boost solenoids and no luck... hope they sort it tomorrow..... 1.4 bar and with 550's mate i think she'll fly !! mmmmmmm nur spec .. amazing what you can do to a scoob that subaru thought was quick as it is, why don't they map these like that then ??!! LOL

me old wagon with all it's mods have a date at Engine Advantages in Witham at 2 pm. I'm bricking it!!.... i really don't want nothing to happen to the ol girl but can't wait to get the results with the Apexi ecu.. i've spent most of this year driving like a t.a.r.t while i progressed in the modding, Whats the chances of damage to engine or box if it goes wrong ?? want it mapped for good safe running rather than max power ... but hoping for 300 bhp mark....

yeh i've just topped up with V power ... in clacton on sea.... £108.9... i was feken annoyed, before the budget it was 102.9, i spent just £22 and huffed and fuffed in discused, and continuesly shook my head in disagreement. ... just for the record..tesco 99 ron is only a couple of pence cheaper here isn't there a petition or something we can sign?...... or maybe this is the gov's way of getting cars off the road so we all use buses to get to work,.... it's gonna get a bit crowded then isn't it !!?? and they'll have to mulitply the bus quoter 10 fold to cope...that's ok then isn't it....all those smelly great tonka toys polluting the country eh?
