  1. yeh sure they are, i had that size on mine before i had front mount fitted, and got that from halfrauds, so you know they won't sell it if it were dodgy.........as such ... the one i got fitted now is the size of a postage stamp and only Hawks with goggles can see it from 30 yards. couple of pics>> http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b197/ins...repimpreza3.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b197/ins...66/DSC00033.jpg
  2. i think i remember your last thread on about leaving the scene, ... like i said ..'spally without a scoob!?' NOOO ... this one looks a bute, love the wide look on that model, ... so then...we still getting flames at JAE ..ect...? well done ... smashing motor mark
  3. hi mate, code check is easy, there are 2 black connectors under dash near steering column, connect these up and switch on ignition and the CEL light may flash a code at you, long flash = 10... and short one = 1 add them up and this gives you a code (eg.. 23 would of been 2 long flashes and 3 short ones) now have a look HERE! and this tell you all you want to know. mark
  4. Hi mate welcome to the club.. de/sports-cat... injectors...front mount... re-map.... sorry!! actualy just take it to TSL and get the 333
  5. you @%&$£' thought that was it matey... smoove mike without a scoob......that's like kojak without a lollypop ........ so come on get yer drill out and screw a plug in that tatty zoorst....... fekin nice car mate, well done,....i not at all frigin jealous mark
  6. recon thats been answered then ... all i do first thing is start up don't rev, sort myself out, maybe wipe windows, 2 mins later i'm off, 15 mins on B road no more than 2.5k is plenty for me for the oil to get up to temp. ... by the time i park up i'm only doing 10/15 mph for a couple of mins so i just turn off after 20 secs or so.. i have the A120 just round the corner, i'll have a blast down there then as i hit the road into mine i cruise at 20mph in second or third depending on time of night then turn off once i make sure all the windows are shut and things switched off...., it's all common sence really. mark
  7. bailey sound better than forge, and i've had mine on for 3 year and no probs, and don't stick out like a sore thumb. easy to service to. each to there own eh!? mark
  8. hi mate, you can go cheaper, i got a de-res centre section for £55 new, de-cat downpipe for about £150 now and a back box of your choice, i got a tsl grp n for £175 ish.. sound nice... untill i changed headers not overly loud but can hear you coming and sounds like a scoob should, but consider scoobysport box 3.5" and sound lovely don't know how much though mark
  9. aww!....green wagon .. welcome to the nut house, we get let out occassionly to spend money and have fun, but most of the time we sit on here thinking we know each other really mate it's a great friendly site, and good for a laugh. and plenty of meetings and shows going on (in season) where you from? mark
  10. i'm 34, full no claims.. uk turbo wagon and i pay £360 with all mods declared with keith michaels,(ask for gary moulson on: 02082880275 - 02086427868 - 08450138231) think the first one is the direct line, tell him your a member sidc. get around 23-26 mpg, and the most reliable car i've had apart from my vw passat. this i posted a while back in 'wanted' section >>>>>> when i viewed mine (uk car)..it had dented floor pans, tank, bit of mud underside, body needed a good scrub and polish ect... 112,000 miles on a P plate.... it had FSH and cambelt proof, drove lovely. cost me £3995 and still got it 3 years on with 153,000 on it now...(but replaced the engine at 143,000 as i had plans and wanted a newer engine...the old one was still going) it's really up to you mate, you'll know if it's a puppy when you look, give it the once over, find out when clutch was done, (weak point on scoobs) no whines from gear box & diff, you'll get a little tapperty when cold and shouldn't be any smoke, should idle on choke at aprox 1000/1200, then settle down to 800 ish...they don't sound like BMW's!!! or sound like a 1100cc ford fiesta!!..see what condition the brakes are in, grooved /scored, glazing and very low pads mean not serviced or neglected...probably means also very few oil changes... i change mine every 3500/5000 miles.. tyres shouldn't have excessive wear, but you'll get a little due to 4wd, engines can be sweet as a nut, maintained well they'll go for ever. treaten like a dog it will keel over and cost you.mark good luck!
  11. hi mate welcome to the club.......again .... and yep green all the way.. mark

  17. i done same thing!!!...nice crystal side lights and a led white bulb....they looked black??!!.. put old ones back in, gonna try me dash in these though, i've done the small ones in the heater controls and looks diferent..kind of off white..but not overly bright.. not bad.. did think about getting those cluster led bulbs for side lights??... i may just stick with the norm.. mark
  18. depending on how much you use and how long you leave it ...i'd use standard thinners. of course it may take paint off if left for an amount of time but will defo soften it up to wipe off.
  19. optimax was 98 ron?...v power 99... if your getting 240 mile to a tank then that works out about 25/26 mpg?.. i just sqeezed out 270 miles since last fill up but it cost £5 more so it went lower than norm, i normaly average 23 mpg to and thro to work on B roads don't new age have 60 litre tanks and classic 50 litre?
  20. i'm still driving my wagon with the mods below...minus stainless headers.....been like a while now as i'm still waiting... then going for apexi re-map...car is fine ..not booting it..., i think the header tank can make it easier if removed..or just a couple of hoses maybe?
  21. didn't think it was that bad?!...fair price for a bug, hey and green's fine ...more than likely been looked after as it doesn't look like a boy racer type., i paid 4k in 2004 for a my96 green classic uk wagon with 112,000 on it!...still got it and well happy and never let me down..(touching my head for luck)
