  1. so shouldn't be too bqad then as still a 50/50 split centre
  2. what diffs? I run a plated rear, open front and dccd centre on open setting... tail happy if I want it.. Simon
  3. what diffs front and back and what anti-roll bars? is it stepping when on the power or just stepping? if under power then could be handling issue or diff, if all the time then handling issue.. stiffer rear antiroll bar than front makes it more tail happy, usual is to leave front standard and fit a 22mm rear has it been aligned since fitment of suspension? Simon
  4. no.. basically the car had had a big side front impact and the guy sold me the springs and shocks off it.. one shock was dead (bent) and I removed the springs and binned the shocks..I had to angle grind one rear in half to get the spring off as they had sat outside and the top nut was solid They looked original but I dunno.. it was a long while ago and the car was damaged a long while before that and so the car was fairly young when damaged.. no need for spring compressor as the springs just dropped on and plenty of thread through to put the top nut on. Simon
  5. I have a roll cage to fit.. but I carry a fair amount of stuff in the boot.. and it all ends up floating around in the cabin I intend cutting the rear seat when cage goes in.. although I might change my mind
  6. indeed.. I currently have two scoobs and one set of rear seats and I am fed up with unbolting it and swapping it when I want to use the other car Simon
  7. I'll have them if someone hasn't already...
  8. have run a semi closed deck block from an sti5 at 504bhp and it was used for racing in Time Attack and nurdburgring and lasted wihtout issue for 3 seasons and is not in another car etc.. unless you intend going beyond 500 then stick with the block you have already... yes the closed deck block is stronger but it is not essential at fairly reasonable power levels. spend the saved cash on rods.. Simon
  9. Put your names on the list and details of how many panels and dents on each you need removing. This will give Matt an idea as to how long it will take and I can compile a timed programme so that you don't have to hang around all day. DENTS LARGER THAN A GOLF BALL CAN NOT BE REMOVED. If the list get's to big it will be first come first served, with a possible second date. 1. Baser999. 2. Pistonbroke 3. dazzler scooby 2-3 dents focus ? dents zafira gsi 2-3 dents 4. Jolly Green Monster - 3 panels and 4 dents in total
  10. the springs that were on those shocks and my car were off an STi1 RA but no idea if they were the orignal but my car sat lower yes.. yours looks much more sensible.. Simon
  11. excellent! did you use the springs I gave you? if not I know where you can sell them on as I know someone that was begging for the ridiculasly low ride height they gave on my car.. I assume looking at it that you are on eibachs? Simon

  14. swapped the intank fuel pump as a temp measure as haven't had time to sort swirl pot.. but now have two bosch 044 pump and two swirl pots to choose from thinking one 044 should be ample.. started planning interior and some parts started arriving my youngest approves very impressed with flocking and week turn around including delivery back to me http://www.suffolkflockingservices.co.uk/ I am not 100% sure whether to fit this next one or not I expect I will but unsure at the minute car has now done 6k miles in less than 2months.. oops Simon
  15. the P1 is basically an STi5 under the skin.. including the ecu map it runs.. the sti5 map is very close to the knuckle on uk fuel.. therefore there is not much room for error.. the maf sensors on the 99/00 can be fragile.. regular resetting of the ecu and checking for hunting idle can identify a failed maf sensor.. if looked after and treated right they are no more fragile than any other subaru engine.. I would get it mapped but then you would think I was just saying that.. but you then know it is safe on the fuel you use and it will have a health check before and during mapping etc.. Simon
  16. think I have a couple in stock
  17. sorry.. I cut one up and binned it out of new car (saving weight).. might still be one in the wagon.. will check Simon
