it is not nice but I think the only way to get money Dean is to strip it.. 3k engine, 2k box, 500 suspension, 500 ecu, 200 cage, 200 each set of wheels, 750 shell, 400 seats, 1000 brakes, 400 rear diff etc... thats 8k maybe 9k plus the trailer off the top of my head with rough pricing.. you will struggle to get that fir the car imho.. probably 6k.. SPA gauge? you will occasionally get random peaks but it never went that high.. not sure why. if you look at the temp sensor.. there is a plug about 4inches from the sensor.. unplug and check the connections are clean and reconnect, disconnect a couple of times to clean connector.. should work then Not that I have had 2 SPA gauges for about 5years or anything Simon

bonnet is steel but from a face lift model. bumper is a 98 with sti4 front lip spoiler.. £150 the lot if you collect.. I also have clear front indicators for said bumper £20. Simon

what is the highest powered car you hav driven before this?

I would think on a 0-60 Dean and I would be fairly matched.. he has more power and more torque but it spools later and is on a 6speed rather than my 5speed. Skullfudge - you running a 6speed? I don't think you can put much more than 450bhp down on the road so not going to differ much between all three cars to 60 anything.. drove a 486bhp/ 480lb 5speed on thursday and it just lit up all four wheels in first and second on a dry(ish) road with R888. which brings on another subject.. tyres.. Dean probably has advantage there with about 4 sets to choose from Simon

the lambda reading changing will not effect WOT full stop.. the lambda reading is only used for closed loop fuelling which is idle and cruise. The lambda sensor is mounted in the top of the downpipe on the classic shape (except 92~95) where it is in the headers.. this is sufficiently far from the valve to be uneffected flow wise by open or shut and will not have any difficulty settling.. plus it is only cruise and idle. Yes it needs mapping or at least checking between open and closed but it is possible to map it so that one or the other is perfect for 99% use and the other a safe compromise.. I think the long term issue would be the valve jamming due to heat and corrosion. I would have a side pipe made up so the exhaust fumes exist at the side of the car rather than under Simon
