  1. been talking with a number of people all looking to buy the same one perhaps? number 15 is an early one... no twin maps, fuel and ignition maps are 16x16 rather than 20x20
  2. fair bit of work gone into the car.. I fitted neetronics DCCD controller but not had much time to play with it on wet road etc yet.. whilst mapping at TSL I was impressed with the Tein suspension they were putting on another car and of course the colour is right. . so whilst mapping there the last two days they installed some tein super street coilovers for me.. It was great to have Colin one of the tech's there working on the car as he cannot stop checking things on the car.. he'll be undoing one thing and looking at something else at the same time.. a real perfectionist and a refreshing change. So a couple of things sorted that he spotted and very nice and reassuring to know the car is straight and of course it now handles the bends much better than the owner.. oh and the front suspension removal snapped an extension bar and alignment took the torch to clean up the threads.. lol Also front and rear braces and a lower brace gone on.. and Colin helped me (he did most of one side before I even got the other side off) fit the rear brembos.. so the car now stops very well especially after new fluid and a bleed through etc.. some pictures Green!!! bracing align Colin in action (wee bit tight to undo!) bigger rears new stance I also transferred the reg off the wagon I have swirl pot to fit which has gone up the priority list as I beleive the walbro pump is struggling too keep up as fuel pressure is sometimes down slightly on WOT!! Simon
  3. dunno, on it when I bought it as a rolling shell Friday I went to Colchester and back errrmm then popped to SW's Simon
  4. wideband accurately allows the fuelling to be monitored
  5. had just finished mapping it cheeky mode - this guys http://bbs.scoobynet.com/scoobynet-general...-today-jgm.html Simon
  6. wideband... didn't realise we caused a queue??
  7. I'm a bit late
  8. I have some v cheap coil overs (tein) to go on.. will be a bit teeth chattering no doubt but will sort ride height, until I can afford decent suspension I just ordered some plain black flaps for it and the skirt extensions are coming off when flaps go on. I have neetronic dccd controller to fit my spare dash is going to get flocked and fitted and considering same for door cards need a rear seat, have also a cage and some bucket seats for it it will get some paint work at some point.. I am unsure whether to paint or remove side stripes, mate has suggested a spray over of laque with something in.. pearl or glitter.. dunno.. but that is a long way off Simon
  9. or 3.54 I mean no worries on topic, but back on topic after a good soaking and today I gave it a polish.. needs doing another couple of times to fully remove the tarpalin marks etc but getting there I am less sure about going for black wheels now.. the gold suit it a bit more now they are clean? perhaps I am just getting use to it? Simon
  10. I only have 3.45 spare
  11. any 93~96 ecu can be remapped via use of an ESL daughterboard.. just needs a spare chip socket soldered in if not installed with one already, I keep them in stock with socket on and just switch etc. the actually ecu the board goes in makes no difference be it 2C or Z4 as the map is replaced via the new board and remap etc Simon
  12. I dread to think how many passenger seats I have sat in and ecu's I have poked yes - I use everything from 2litre for my 2.5.. Simon
  13. lol.. I'll try not to.. DCCD controller still to fit which will help on track Simon
  14. it looks horrendously high ride height and handles like that too!!! wheels going black and coilovers to come
  15. picture of car on my mates drive in derby, done 260miles in it today.. no beats skipped gauge pod removed, reason for me planning to flock the dash blantantly obvious in this pic gauges already in it my gauges fitted.. sticking with boost gauge also fitted switch for antilag to the underside Simon
  16. doing the centre and backbox then remap is not essential doing the downpipe sometimes the freer flow causes boost spikes and also you may get a CEL due to no cat.. you would get more out of it with a remap too mind. Simon
  17. think wrx wqas juist back box
  18. ppp on sti is sportscat down pipe and sportier backbox I believe
  19. oh and I didn;'t realise how rare the colour was.. 100saloons and 100wagons all special editions.. no idea why though
  20. would have been good to see you.. I fitted boost controller today - had be undecided whether to go for the ecu controlling it or the AVCR.. decided I like playing with the boost whilst driving so went with AVC-R... had been on actuator pressure of 1.2bar until then.. on the drive home.. 1.5bar - holly crap I forgot how quick 450 is decided to change wheel colour to black..
  21. excellent! well done
