  1. I'll make sure I include her on my cc list for this one then shall I ?? Good luck sleeping - it's gonna be hard enough onshore !!
  2. LOL !! It's only 3 quid, so I might give it a whirl. Not far off the cost of a pint these days, so I probably wouldn't miss it too much! Dave p.s. Ali says hi !
  3. Has anyone ever tried the "add your name to the end of the list and send money to the person at the top of the list" get rich quick thing before ? I had a similar thing a while ago (before paypal existed!), and made a few quid out of it, but haven't heard about it again until today when I received an email. Seems to have more chance of working than most of the email scams that float around, but just curious if anyone has tried it. Dave
  4. << Erskine Bridge closed due to high winds!!! >> That doesn't happen very often does it ?? It's certainly howling here. One of my workmates reckoned he'd be ok to get home on his bike tonight (he's from Fife), and was back in the car park within a few minutes !! Good night to record some high speed runs I supose, if you can find a road with a direct tail wind (a private road obviously !!)
  5. Wayhay - got my 25 days + banks with immediate effect ! Where's the pub !!
  6. Thanks guys, that's pretty much what I am aiming for. 25 + banks (33). I'll just need to see if I can accelerate the point at which the 25 begins though!! Probably try for Christmas/New year gap time off too. No harm in asking!
  7. I'm re-negotiting my employment contract at the moment, and am just wondering what holiday entitlement is 'normal' in my line of work. I'm a project manager in a software company, a director of the company, a share holder and have been here nearly 11 years. At the moment I get 20 days + banks (the same as all other employees). Anyone in a similar job that can give me something to compare to ? (I've already got it up to 25 days, but only at a rate of one extra day per year). Any comparisons would be useful ! Dave
  8. Thanks anyway !
  9. Nobles don't care if it's an import or not, so don't worry about that.
  10. What size are they ? I'm after a set of slicks, but they'd need to go over 6 pot APs. Dave
  11. Good to see a few of you for the first time (this year). Sorry I missed the rest of you though . I got there the back of 10. Really need to sort out an Edinburgh meet soon. Particularly after the success of the last one !! See you all at the next one ! Dave
  12. Welcome aboard mate... see you at the next meet

  15. Additional info and prices added...
  16. re : RB5 wheels... Dave looks after his stuff, so more likely he just wanted a change. I've got his old 19's and they were mint. HTH
  17. I've got a P1 too mate, and the KL is usually pretty quiet when running on pure optimax. I always carry a bottle of NF though in case I get a bad tank. You'd be surprised how much Optimax varies from fill to fill. If I get any more than one yellow consistantly, I throw some NF in and try and dilute the tank at another station as soon as I can. I rarely fill the car right up for this reason. There are also some rumours that Optimax loses it's knock suppression properties over time so I prefer half filling more often to go along with that theory too. HTH Dave p.s. The P1 has the same map as the type R - it's just got more sensitive knock correction.

  20. When I sell my Skyline I'll be seriously interested in this. Could do with a bit more space for karting stuff, and neither the P1 or Skyline are that generous with boot space !! Nice looking buggy, but have no cash just now! Dave
