  7. Had a great day, a must for us to get something like this sorted for SIDC, only found out that there was a place left after the practice!!!!! My times Run 1 68.23 Run 2 63.53 Run 3 62.61 Run 4 61.60 I recon If I had been there for the practice session and had my Bridgestones on rather than my clapped out Goodyears I would have made it sub 60s The fastest car there was an evo with about a 56 or 57 sec lap, but I still managed to beet a fair few of the opposition, even got a comendation from the FQ500 driver who was supprised at how well my overweight newage was!!. I enjoyed this far more than Knockhill!!!, a must get for us Graeme
  8. we had an 8 cylender 30,000 ish BHP engine fitted on the containership I was on and it drank 100 tonnes of heavy fuel oil a day at 71rpm @ approx 20.1 knots Graeme

  15. Na it'l never happen!!!!...lol Graeme
  16. Always wanted one since a cetrain Scottish bloke won some world chapionship or another and I saw him doing doughnuts on the telly. I started off with a wee Renult 5, I hated it so much I got a clio after that but could not afford to get rid of it for 5 yrs! then got a 205 GTI, but that only lasted a few months as it was dead. After the GTI I moved into Jap cars with an RX8 230ps, had that for 6 months (at the same time as our Glasgow RO had his waggon) then got my STi9, and never looked back since. I cant see myself driving anything else than a Subaru now unless my circumstances change dramatically Graeme
  17. Everyone round about me have got bikes, I think I will need to get off my arse and get mine out of its box of bits (nearly there, engine is running) Poss we should start organising bikers meets too!!![] (and see Peter getting a divorse when he tells his missus that he wants a bike!!!) Well done Al, look forward for going on a run next year Graeme
  18. Yup Bute, gets my vote, as well as all the other Ideas. would love to go to the ring, but got a few things up my sleave so cash may be tight for next year Graeme
  19. Imy, I think you should speak to Mr B nicely and keep his wheels on the car for the weigh in!!!, Grant does have a small advantage due to the fact that theres nothing in his car.!!!, poss I should sit in it (Grants car that is!!!) for the weigh in........lol (when I get your wheels back, I shall weigh both to the best of my abilities with the bathroom scales) Graeme
  20. am totaly p issed that im working for this one!!!!!!!!!!![][:@][] Graeme
  21. Im sure whatever you get you will love!! For ease of warranty etc go UK, but JDM cars (Japanese Domestic Market) cars are better with more Gucci bits. Just remember to have them undersealed, alarmed and mapped to UK fuel (V-Power) With the cash you save going for an import you could even get an STi!, looking back on it, I got my UK STi before I joined the club etc, I think if I were to do it again I would get a JDM car but a UK warranty has been good to me so far due to my knocking noises (currently going in tomorrow to have the back end of the car looked at) Graeme
  22. will tell you after my next remap!!!! Graeme
  23. highly informative there Peter....lmfao!!![] Graeme
  24. Yea Stephen all fixed today!!!!![] (they told me if it wasnt warranty it would have been 98 +VAT[]) Graeme
