<< Hello , Can you tell me how much it would cost to increase the horse power on my 05 WRX Impreza . The sort of power gain I would like is about 40-50 hp . Thankyou >> Its not all about the bhp... need to consider the torque as well !.. I have fitted a full decat exhaust system, equal length headers, HKS induction, Uprated walbro fuel pump, FSE power boost valve, 550cc injectors and an Apexi Power FC ecu. Some of the parts were second hand but the last 4 items are brand new. Cost for parts approx £2k plus fitting (approx a days labour) and Jolly green monster to Map/setup the ecu to my modifications was addtional.... A lot of these bits are over the top, but I have gained nearly 50bhp so far but I have plans for an additional 50-60 bhp once i purchase a turbo and intercooler. Prices will be the same if not slighty higher for an 03 wrx Over to you Simon

I could be interested,, I am right in saying its a front entry and will bolt onto my 98 classic in place of my tdo4 ? Ecu is apexi so a quick remap i'll sort that

It was the 1.3 bar setting on the Commander and the tuner said it peaked at 1.3

Was the cleanest running car there at 130,000 miles as well may be on the lookout for an uprated turbo next to get those figures up !!

Just to say thanks to Simon for mapping my car and having a second go last friday night managed to squeeze a few more horses out of it ... Still running like a dream going on the rollers this sunday so will let you know what it gets

I have fitted 4 flamer kits now... and none of them worked until all the cats were removed... And even then mine didnt work standing still untill I had a remap and new ecu (got some great ones driving around though !) The cat burns up excess fuel and none of it gets a chance to hit the spark plug..

Followed a new age ** GEM again yesterday morning a249 into sittingbourne Overtaken by a New age wagon as well !

Pele Spotted !!! tonight M2 chatham turnoff joining the motorway coast bound, i was so close i could see the whites of your eyes!! I was in my van behind you... And looney toons old car (i think) nearly took out the side of my van this afternoon just off the bridgewood roundabout.. lol
