Whilst playing catch - up I managed to bust my 3rd gear [:'(] So I am on the market for a new gearbox for my 98 UK... whilst i am at it, I could be interested in a DCCD setup at the right price but not critical. ANY Gearboxes looking for a good home ??

Consider yourself spotted ! Followed you along m2 then overtook past the services... was up for a play, but had just lost 3rd on my gearbox catching you up ! First tidy green one I have seen in a while !

Erm the apparent alleged site is my own personal site at www.montie.co.uk, the papers got wind of it from the police but its only got one video clip from laker road that I have published on it... Don't bother phoning crimestoppers as I was questioned 3 weeks ago about it, and the paper has asked me for a follow up story Feel free to pop up on friday night, due to the press release in the paper the police are popping by every couple of hours and moving everyone on, but people drive round the corner and wait for them to go ! Wont be long before they find something better to do!

As a few of you know I goto Laker rd in rochester a lot.... I took some video footage and posted it up on my site... The police found it.......... and heres the article in the local rag dont phone crime stoppers,, I have already been questioned ! lol SO be wary, the police are looking for evidence of people videoing their antics, they were going to take my camera, tapes and PC to be analyzed for Number plates and evidence. I refused and they threatened me with a charge of witholding evidence and the issue of a search warrant.. told them I had nothing !

I was at redline rumble and this car is a tool !!! No intercooler or power steering tho.... Ths thing does 210 mph if I remember rightly and holds a world record for it...

rev and drop.... bout 4 grand and dump the clutch, slight bit of squeal and off we go !

Finally ventured up to Santa Pod for the first time today, managed to get 3 runs on the strip and here are my times, how do they compare with anyone else ? Normal optimax, no octane booster and a car load of stuff for a family day out, including a baby seat ! First run Reaction - +0.821 1/4 mile time - 14.3 Speed - 96.38 Second run Reaction - +1.750 (that'll be when i looked to the left !) 1/4 mile time - 13.8 secs Speed - 95.41 Third Run Reaction - +0.950 1/4 mile time - 13.7 sec Speed - 97.01

there s a stretch of tarmac, that previously has been used for the bike shows, for qtr mile timings. I installed and maintain the computers for kent county showground and get to hear some of the gossip, they did apply for the strip, just dont know if it got passed or if they have organised it yet... slightly off topic, got to see the old bill testing out a new stinger there this week.. with a tyre van on standby changing the tyres,,lol

Have they had the OK for the 1/4 mile drag strip ??
