agree with Craig. With the RA being such a specific version of Impreza, I found that the big high street players didnt have it in their database. It was great when I phoned specialist insurance companies cos when they asked "make and model of vehicle" I didnt have to go through a list of scoobs with them saying "no, not WRX, not Sport" etc etc as they had the RA listed and then they said "guess its an import then" []

£8,000 sounds like a bargain for the car you spotted in the trader, given its age and its mileage. the RA's hold their value and i'd be suspicious of ones that are cheap - high chance of it dying on you if its too good to be true

for those that dont know, i've borrowed ally's lightweight 16" advans cos my (heavier) alloys needed repaired and refurbed. I think it is extremely fair if we do this weighing competition with ally's lightweight wheels on my RA - it takes out one of the variables and puts both cars on an even footing (squirrel's got light alloys on his car) hands up who agrees with me?? []

I'm content. I've always been a "classic" girl and my first scoob is a STi RA! [] [] there are some cosmetic changes i want to make but I'm happy with everything under the bonnet and the way she handles.
