  11. kloon, I mean posting/replying on more threads, coming along to further afield events like Dastek/KH/Crail, buying the SS clothes and generally getting to know the other members on the forum/meeting up/helping out each other out. it might just be me but i've noticed that there is no longer a 'boundary' between the Aberdeen scoobs and the rest of the region that I felt at the Glenshee photoshoot last year
  12. good news Peter. seems like your luck is changing given whats happened to your scoob recently [st] [ip] []
  13. I am also surprised at this thread and agree the majority's view of letting it be. If you're the type of person that wants to mod their car and shares their experiences then you've got to expect some banter/questions/curiosity/competition. however there is one post that i want to query.... 1) this has nothing to do with location. When any car runs well (no matter if its Aberdeen or Glasgow) the owner wants to share his excitement with the forum, post up pics etc and because most of us are like-minded, it goes down well. 2) there was plenty praise and compliments after the Dastek RR event at Dalgety Bay when it was proven Craig's was the most powerful newage at the time. Perhaps you missed it 3) I recall that you, Wuz, were the 1st to enquire why Peter's car didnt make the figures he expected........ there has been a lot more community spirit in the forum lately and I've noticed that the Aberdeen crowd are joining in more. This is a positive thing and lets not spoil it by competing with each other or by taking the "who's faster / lightest / cleanest / dirtiest / loudest" banter too personally.
  14. Marty, most definately [] Planning for catalogue to be out, clothes ordered, made up and dispatched before Xmas
  15. [] [^o)] [:^)] [*-)] welcome to the forum
  16. nice one Ally. for anyone that wants to be involved in buying presents, I'll bring along copies of a summary sheet that I've made up listing the type of presents that Yorkhill prefer with me to the November Glasgow meet. If you are not able to attend the meet, drop me an email (micra_wrcATyahoo.co.uk) and I'll email you the sheet. I can also email out the donation form for those that can print it off themselves. If you dont have access to a printer, PM me your postal address and I'll stick the donation form and summary from Yorkhill in the post for ya.
  17. if the most popular car is the MY05, how come there are more classics than new ages then? perhaps there is more choice/variety in the classic shape [*-)]
  18. bump in case folk have forgotten, the point of this thread is " to carry out a wee survey to see what the average car we have is in age, model and year. and also if there are more classics to newages owners" c'mon then bandit, whats the average model and year of the scottish scoobs?
