Thanks St3ph3n. That link did help. Its something i found a bit confusing. Spare aloys from my 04 wrx did scrape a bit on my classic. Unfortunately the wheels on the classic when i got the car do not fit over my brembos Cant wait for the ring. Its like track day mecca. Everyone should go there once. I just hope im still alive and have a car to go back with. Think ill just take my time the 1st few laps and build the speed up.

Off on a trip to the ring and spa next month. Looking for another set of wheels for my classic. I have brembo brakes off new age fitted so would need somthing to fit over them. Do the classic and new age have a different offset? If so what offset do i need? Does anyone have a set of wheels that would do the job. Not looking for anything really fancy as i only really use the car on track days

Anyone else going to the hot marques day on sunday. Missing the next SIDC as im off at a wedding. Looks like the weather is going to be nice. Although, sunshine at knockhill twice in a year. I dont believe it!

I was there too. In the red classic. Never really got a chance to talk to anyone. Too much time spent sitting at the red light traffic jam. Then destroying my tyres Good standard of driving though. Hot marques can be a wee bit iffy about letting faster cars by. Everyone seemed to have their heads screwed on tonight though

Thinking about getting my adjustable suspension setup properly. Only really use the car for trackdays and the odd backroad blast. So would like to get a more track specific setup. Any suggestions on where to get it done? Im based in Dumfries but will be heading up to knockers for the hot marques next thurs. Think Dastek is close, maybe could get it done before the day. Have also heard good thinks about powerstation down sarrff. Would it be worth the 4 hour drive?

My impreza is my second car. Really only drive it for back road blasts and track days. Used to have a my04wrx, was too sore on fuel for 30k/ year. Replaced it with a classic JDM WRX and a BMW 320coupe msport. 40+ mpg makes a nice change. Miss the power though, it does handle pretty well though.

I was the only scoob on track. Was a good day, not too many cars there so the track was nice and quiet.Made a nice change being dry. Some really nice cars there too. The Gt3RS was gorgeous.

Ruby- Have seen the clips, they are really good. Always good to see a bit of flame out of the back of the car Fai 17 - It was a hot marques day. Or actually a hot marques + corsa day! Think the next SIDC day will be the next time i get on track. And it cant come soon enough. There are some really great pics on this thread. Especially like poah's Pick of the car comming out of the hairpin. If anyone else has any of me (red Irish plate classic) Just let me know

Great day. Really enjoyed myself in the new car (red classic with irish plates). Its much more of an animal than the 04WRX. It was good to put a few faces to names as well. Was not so sure about the cones though. It was a bit like being in the worlds fastest contraflow Roll on the next SIDC day

Is anyone else driving at the hot marques day on saturday? Looking forward to trying out new scoob. Had to get rid of black my my04wrx (same as st3ph3n), used to take it to SIDC days at knockhill. Was a company car and get a diesel.Bought myself a JDM classic with adjustable suspension ect to use as a toy and track car. Cant wait to take it to the track
