I have one i bought off ebay and it looks really good. Also find I get less flies in the cooler. Got mine of ebay for just under 100 squid.

I've just heard from a friend of mine who knows the guy who sold me my car. my friend said that the salesman clocked my car doing some miles an hour (i won't say for legal reasons on the m1. apparently he knows this because he checked my metasat account. firstly i didnt even know my account was set up and secondly why the hell is the salesman looking at something that should be my personal details. i feel a bit violated.

as are continental. i think its an odd choice but they felt brilliant around rockingham

Im personally not fond of any gloss or matte vinyl wrap. if youre gonna get it done white is probably best. black makes it look like a giant chalk board!:

paid 27k for mine. came with pro r remap, carbon wrap roof, spoiler touch screen stereo sat nav. but i had pro drive 19s and tyres added. so would have been about 25k. straight from dealer only 2k miles and i am first proper owner. thus smiles all round! except the missus who hates the speed!

i used to have an st3 focus. fiddled with it a bit and got it running about 245bhp. loved it, but it doesnt hold a candle to my wrx sti.

on the subject of clutches. what amount of power can you run through a wrx sti? bearing in mind it was 320bhp as standard. now its running at 348ish.

I was of the impression the dealer is supposed to set it up, or at least pass on the details so it will be. That is what I was told anyway. Don - Still waiting for dealer to get back to me about a Hybrid Version manual, been a week now. They keep just passing me to the lad that sold me the car, who doesn't know.

You often won't get charged for the import duty until it arrives at the distribution centre in the UK. Only once you've paid that will they deliver it to you.

saw something similar on pistonheads so thought id ask on here, just for a laugh. ill start the ball rolling. had a guy challenge me in a white vw lupo the other day. it had a wide body kit 4 exhausts and a roll cage. got up to the 50mph limit he kept going and didnt see the overt speed camera! to be fair it was pretty quick

they were the daddy of rally and gt car performance. think they still are but not sure what their focus is these days

Well I have put a request into my local dealer via email to see if they can help me finding a manual. Lets see how long it takes. Don, I take it the manuals can only be attained from local dealers? There isn't some online database of manuals are there by any chance?

where do you find this stuff. are you some kind of subaru ninja spy? seriously through is there a manual somewhere for the wrx sti? i only ask because i was given only the manual for a bog standard impreza

Do these codes show up in the digital screen in the rev counter Also is that rev-00 thing a manual rev limiter selector?

That they are. Think I managed to get them to warm to the latest saloon WRX too. Understandably the hatchback hasn't been successful. Auto-blip feature is the best. Thanks again for the tip.

I've just returned from Carnetix having my car remapped by Jolly Green Monster. With the induction kit fitted, plus snorkus and ram air removed I have made a 28-30 bhp gain. We ran a few tests and the torgue is just under 400lbs too! Ecutek remap also added launch control and an auto-blip feature which is awesome. Allows you to change gear whilst still flooring the accelerator and the punch you get with the back fire from the exhaust is awesome.
