been there done that and bore the skid marks in more ways than one. lol. funny tho how that happens....... just out the blue decide to slow down or cant be arsede going full tilt and something happens that makes you think' if i had been doing my usual then the out come would have been a lot worse ' jobs a good un and glad alls well
i know he got home as he called me when he got back and now think he is away again but dont know how he got on after i said maby try cleaning the icv and check the plugs
bloody hell . there not shy with the prices . lol. by the way dave. i was at the track and street meet last night in the 'toon. seen a couple of clubs with fags up. might be worth a vist whith the club flags on a cruise night with them. will try and find out some info.
all sorted boys fitted and wiring , smart s fitting them was not the problem dave. the problem turns out to be that i have a pressure light switch not for one the gauge. grrrrrr. i fitted mine to the top of the block, a bit fiddly but a bent 17mm spanner works wonders. cue the ripping on the ' bent spanner '........ i have also sussed the afr so alls good. turns out had dodgy lambda so new one fitted and alls good there too.. not a hundred % on the oil temp gauge as have water temp so you have a rough idea on temp anyway. pressure gauge then yes . t5ho there are two type oil as in direct pressure to the gauge or a t peice that joins to the end that does temp and pressure from the same outing. just make sure you get the one with the long extension pipe
i must be privelidged then as seen him twice since the fling. tho the second time he was classed as a stalker when his little fiesta followed mr thru keith and pulled up behind me when i was dropping the loon back at his mums. after he got out i realized who it was. the jusry is still out on my first thought tho :rotfl:
mmmm , no,..... to a point..................... cue the outcry about my car now.......... tbh tho if i had the ra before the kit was put on then i would not have gone as extreme as the 559 red ra is quite rare now. under bonnet mods tho are different as they are easily removed and replaced back with originals. i have said before on mine that if it ever get pranged and the kit is damaged bad then i will put it back to original body.. but like lewis said . its up to the owners preferance. exteme rare one tho no they should be kept untouched except for some slight power tweeks if need be
i had the same problem with keith miechals too. adrian flux are cheapish but have to jump thru hoops for them am now with grove and dean, part of perfomance direct i think. got my typ ra import insured with all the mods declared and bodykit and the like for 540 the fully comp and ive only 4 yrs ncd
was he nae in for retina treatment after opening his highland fling wardrobe and the shirts burnt in his eye balls........... . hope all is good tho dave. ...... and just coz your sick does not mean you cant post as you should have more time to do it now . . had been holding my breath but had to breath as there still no details. .......
