how much to just come down and have a look. do they charge for entry?

think i will take a trek down. wont be going on the track tho as need it mapped first and the coilys fitted to get the best out of a track day but will come down for a look see and find out whats involved for when mine is finally ready to do a track day

my wench got my 2 tickets for said btcc at knockhill so me and my eldest are going down and depending on the weather we have a full weekend pass with camping . so hopfully be good for the camping. if not then we will go down for the racing on sunday. now do i take the ra or get my son to drive in his gti.? gti would be cheaper on fuel as dont think ive done enouh overtime for fuel for the scoob as its near a 300 mile round trip. plus got a warped disc on the front of the ra so golf it is and i will be chauffeured in

i do think the ' politics ' have spoilt it a wee bit

the big service station at broxden perth would be a good stop over. plus the likes of toys r us estate in dundee is where the tsg have meets every so often. will ask some of my pals wheres a good meet up in perth for food too

as above what phill says. check her over and me personnaly would take the plugs out and put in gear and rock it to make sure alls free.. same with the brakes. jack it up and give all the calipers a bit of a spray up and buff the disc down too

depending what your wanting to do with the car. ive been pondering this for some time and think realistically as i dont do track days that coilovers maybe to hard a ride for driving on the roads. i have kyb adjustables on at the mo and there a good set up.

been saying it for a while now but sidc seems to be stuck and wont movve with the times. ive voiced my opinion a few times but those at the top wont budge. tbh the only reason i renewed was i got a £30 a mnth saving on my car ins. plus on the post side its still seems to be the nscottish section that post regular and if it wasnt for that this would be really dead here. also think people work commitments have changed so its harder to get meets organized. i know ive missed a few coz of it

thats finaly the old ra back together after some teething re assembly problems, 2 stripped head bolts on the manifold and some fitting issues but i was experimenting with a straight pipe after i took off the back box...... think i may have woken the dead lol. put 3 in back box back on for the show up in keith on sunday. but may make a straight pipe to fit later. that just leave brack discs and poss suspention upgrade then defo in the next few months a mappable ecu as got the all clear from the mrs on the funding side . so all in good job done. will get a vid and post it up once done . one now with back box then one without
