this is where im lucky. i have a little work van supplied and fueled by the company so my scooby is now purely a weekend warrior. and being the classic then its normal road tax and as its not used much then the milage is low and low fuel cost plus insurance milage is 8k a year. its a shame if you have to sell but your not alone. a pal duncan just got rid of his, bryan d on here is thi nking of selling his and lewis has got rid of his now. sad days but i suppose needs must for some.

early days.............? she came in the other day and say ' ive scuffed your car ' me / wtf? mrs / aye i just nipped a kerb on the front. me / WTF? scuffed. she fekkin scraped about 5 mm of the corner of the fekkin splitter!!!!!! me / if i shaved that much off whilst i was shaving i would have bled to death!!!! mrs / now your just being melodramatic me / errr no! that now has a flat spot ffs!. im now going to slice a chunk off her vibrator and see how she feels. she still driving it tho as her car bit as nae turned up yet. its early days but she is driving it most days now. so hopefully get her confidence up in it then get some rally style driving................. on second thoughts that is best left to me where i would feel a lot safer for the car lol

heres a wee vid of my mrs driving my ra aka ' the plow ' .i had to have some eye treatment so she ended up driving. quality not great as i could not see that well by this point and also didnt want her to know i was filming . she said just before this ' its funny how the scooby changes your driving attitude..... turns you into a right hooligan. ' bless her cotton socks. i like the bit where there was a astra trying to pass us. ' like fk........ update........... after a whole afternoon on sat trying to get a sheared stud out of the up pipe i finally ran out of light so roll on sunday morning. when up bright and early to finish of re assembly . all went well and had her ticking over by dinnertime. loving the deep burble back now and apart from 20psi and overboost it goes well . short blast then reset the turbo actuator rod as i had moved it when i thought ut was worn and that was my late boost problem before i found the buggered intercooler pipe. just got mto get the tein coilovers serviced before i fit them as have a slight damp rear one.. fit the hoses once i get the new pads and fit the discs. once i have fully cleaned off all the oily paw prints of the samco and cleaned the engine bay i will post a vid of the sound before , as i recorded it before i changed the manifold and the sound now.. one very happy bunny.
