  1. I'm sure the plod have some live feed from my tracker, they never catch me doing anything wrong, just want to chat and remind me of speed limits. I must know most of them by name.
  2. That's a nice whole £300 if you include SIDC membership ;-0
  3. Boys and Girls it's time to start planning the SIDC Xmas dinner!!! The plan is to keep things as they were last year. Have a meal and drinks on the 7th December 2013, at the Fayre & Square Groby Road, Leicester, LE3 9QE, which has the benefit of the Premier Inn across the car park. For those of you who attended last year I don't need to remind you how much everyone enjoyed it, and that was before the alcohol started flowing. To all new members and those who haven’t attended before, don't be shy, get your name down, you will be glad you did. After you have studied the menu below, add your name and your menu choices to the list below. The venue will require some form of deposit/payment but I will sort this out when we have a better idea of numbers. If you need a room at the premier Inn click here If you have any questions just ask, hope to see lots of you there. 1.ScoobieFloz -Prawn Cocktail-Beef-Cheesecake [booked] 2.Kim 3.Don 4.Scoobro +1 -Prawn Cocktail-Turkey-Cheesecake/Mushrooms-Turkey-Xmas Pud [booked] 5.Scoobyjoff 6. 7. 8.
  4. As a frequent visitor to my homeland I have never been pulled for not having them. If you were planning on staying there long term, you will need them along with other things to pass the TUV (their MOT) but you'll get away without them as a visitor.
  5. Welcome to SIDC. Nice to see another new Midlands member. Currently organising some new Midlands meets, hope to see you at one soon.
  6. Make sure you have your driving license, sounds stupid but I didn't have mine and got an on the spot fine after plod decided they didn't like the look of the Scoob.
  7. Hi Matt, Welcome and hope to see you at an event soon.
  8. Hi and Welcome back to the fold.
  9. I didnt renew my Sky subscription this year and guess what, NO SKY! I am sure this thread is supposed to be for Introductions?
  10. Following Rachel and Nick stepping down, we currently do not have a Regional Organiser for our area. It will of course be difficult to replace Rach and Nick, however, I would like to put myself forward and I am willing to take on the role of RO and would like to ask our members if anyone has any objections and/or is there anyone else who is interested in becoming RO?
  11. Hello and Welcome! Hope you get it sorted without major issues. WR1's R Us!!!!
  12. Looks good. Now the fun of keeping the back box shiny and new begins
  13. After customising a couple of Ford Fiesta's I wanted to step up the BHP with 4 wheel drive. After looking at a couple of Cosworths my mate found a Classic Import WRX. I have always loved the barble from the Scoobies so took it out for a test and was sold instantly. Unfortunately being a young hooligan I got 12 points within 5 months so the beast had to go. Once all the points had cleared I couldn't wait to get back in an Impreza. There seemed to be lots on the market so was looking for something a little different. Some say the colour is wrong but that’s exactly why I chose it! I have had my WR1 for nearly 3 years now, it’s my daily runner, ultimately reliable and still a lot of fun.
  14. There are still some events on the Calendar that have not been organised. I am trying to gauge interest in the remaining events so we can get them organised asap and confirm bookings. November 3rd - Firework Display 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. December 7th - Midlands Christmas meal, Leicester. Details to follow as soon as available 1.ScoobieFloz 2.Kim 3.Don 4.Scoobro +1 5.Scoobyjoff 6. 7. 8.
  15. As we do not have any Midlands meets in August and TRAX seems ages away, who fancies meeting up at the Ashby Folville car/bike meet on Tuesday 13th August. I haven’t been personally but the event always gets good reviews and it might be good to use the event as a regular meet between National Meets and organised events. After reading a few old posts regarding the event it seem that 17:30 – 18:00 seems a good time to arrive. It only costs £2 per car and is held on the Cricket Pitch opposite The Carington Arms. Hope to see you all there, members New and Old! Attending: 1.ScoobieFloz 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9.
  16. If you build it they will come........apparently!
  17. Note to self "Fill up @ Shell before it starts!!!"
