Good work Davey - as always, if I happen to be in Scotland, then count me in.

I use michelin pilot sport 3's - cos that's what comes on the CS400. Seem good but I corner like a granny lol. I wouldn't mix brands as the tread patterns in the wet won't be compatible and I think that would be a worry - but maybe that's nonsense? I've always like running Pirelli's on my other cars - but had a 2 month old P-Zero bubble on the inside rim - so am now nae happy with them.

Last couple of times I've gone on moneysupermarket.com and got the Sheraton on Lothian Road for a good price, and got a king room with full scottish breakfast pre-paid deal, first time was thru DHR.com (discount hotel rooms) and 2nd time I canna remember. Breakfast was good though - eat all ye want bacon, sasssages, Scottish offal treats and fried eggs etc. And car parking was something like £16 for 24 hours in their own car park which is part of the hotel. Some hotels ye have a long walk and are £25 and up for 24 hours :-0 I think Tom Kitchin's is at Leith? Nae sure if there's any hotels doon there.

Can anyone recommend a reliable company to transport a car from Aberdeen to Edinburgh? Does anyone work in a garage and have a company they use regularly they could recommend? Any ideas cost from Abz to Edinburgh? Guess it could be an Edinburgh company or Aberdeen company - cos it's only going to be a 1 way journey, I hope!
