  1. Fit like, min! Oot of the shoppin' trolley / Wheel barra Subaru's I prefer the blob
  2. I went to see "Dark Skies" - it was nae bad. I thought it was gonna be a horror but it wasnae really. The missus even liked it after thinking it would be crap. Dark Skies Trailor How do ye post them movie preview thumbnails?
  3. Yelp - good resurrection, min! Firstly remember 'Offshore' isn't a job - offshore is a place where people do loads of different jobs. Find out what interests you and what is related to what ye did in the army. Me, I work in drilling, started offshore but now on land rigs - really like it - but that's what I was sure I wanted to do, I wasn't interested in getting into anything else and that nearly scuppered my career before it started. But there's also Production which I believe could be more related to yer traditional trades type work. Getting a survival ticket will probably help but is no guarantee. Try Nutec or Petrofac training in Aberdeen for the course. Agencies definitely a good way to go but ye'd probably need your "Greenhands" roustabout course and getting that first trip is always going to be difficult. But could I go back offshore? Nae chance, I've done my time on the rusty tin cans (for now)
  4. I believe the FB page admin just posts up pics they like, they're nae actually linked to SIDC website.
  5. I found out about it from the 'Subaru of America, Inc' facebook page - see below... Subaru of America, Inc - Linky It was also on Subaru Rally Team USA twitter feed... SRT USA Twitter Linky And the Subaru USA feed... Subaru USA Twitter feed...
  6. Haha - the morning cat video is so true lol. I get the meows, then the cat will sit by the bed, then jump up and walk all over me, and if i still won't get up I get head butts and eventually the dreaded wet nose on my arm lol.
  7. Fit like, min! How did we all miss this intro thread?!? Oops! A PE teacher at my school used to drive a red Brat. It was fully spot lighted up - think he used to go shooting with with. They're real good looking pick ups - although more of a Ute I reckon. I'd be looking at a WRX if I was getting a classic - should go with a turbo version in my opinion.
  8. Fit like, min! BRZ looks cool!
  9. Sweet stand loon! The cars lookin nae bad too. ... now... can I borrow it all for a bbq when the sun finally arrives
  10. Gutted I missed this even though I'd paid well in advance Some of ye might have seen me drivin on the A90 north after the event with a dodgy silver Italian V8 following closely. Having had it off the road for over 2 months - the better half wanted her car back (there was nae arguing haha) - p.s. PK Supercars come highly recommended for yer Italian V's. I certainly saw a few trailers fae the track day (non-scoobs) but I did see a Pajero towing a Evo dodgy subaru wannabe - think they're fae Abz Scoobs. I did wave at the silver classic who was a the petrol station behind me at gleneagles Shell but nae sure they were fae the track day. Anyhoo - I guess thats me missed the SIDC track days for the reaminder of the year due to work - but sure I'll get along some day.
  11. Fit like, min! Good luck with the search. See alot of tasty wagons around the city and shire these days - some affa loud exhausts burblin past my hoose
  12. Even though I'm missing the fling - I'd definitely be interested. Sorry for the hijack - but how is France for 99 RON? Will I need booster for a french road trip?
  13. Once again, Don to the rescue. Tomoro I'm finally away to get off my erse and finish my Blitz Gauge Pod work. p.s. Don - Did I once see an engine bay photo of yer car where ye'd fitted a Forge recirc valve? Is there any benefit to fitting the forge one? Is it Pro-R? The Cosworth just has the standard one - but with the other cost cutting measures on the CS400 (e.g. no Cosworth Oil Cap) - I'm wondering if I should upgrade?
  14. Fit like, min! I replied to another thread for ye. Mind and toot if ye see a red Cosworth!
  15. Ye've bin chavin awa, eh?! Good work, loon!
  16. Fit like, min! I dinnae want to step on any toes, but if you join up on Aberdeen Scoobies, there's folk there with parts on the go. Alot of members are member both on SIDC and on Aberdeen Scoobies so nae really any conflict (apologies if I'm spikin oot o turn). I'm a member of both and for Subaru fanboyz - ye can nenver have enough clubs... even if I'm never free for the events. I did also see there was an Aberdeen Subaru Parts facebook page, but when I requested to join, some ned tailt me I didnae have any pictures of Subaru's and my location wasn't listed as Aberdeen and to "never try to join the site again". So obviously gypos... lol. Is there any bits n bobs in particular yer after?
