well i dont know technichally what its is that goes on them, i think its the seals or something? some people have a go at repairing them themselves. makes a loud clunking noise going over bumps and makes the ride bumpy to say the least!! as you are ruuning 240bhp through your civic you will notice a helluva difference with the AWD!! take it youve supercharged it? still love when the iVTEC kicks in though!

ah, right, hmmm, very interesting as i need my front drop links done and was thinking of getting whiteline ones, how much are the fronts normally? and difference over stock? was gona start a thread for this but here will do!!

adam i had a ep3 type r and traded it for a gb270 all i can say is do it!!! much better car and much more fun!! yes the struts can be dodgy but they may have already been replaced under warranty. i had mine done under warranty when the car was 3 years old! but you will not regret changing!!

there blind drilled and not straight through i think, i wouldnt touch through drilled ones either for that very reason

following on from an earlier post about what brakes to go for (cheers for the help ) my brakes (standard 4 pots) now need done and so i was gona go for: (front) brake tech performance discs drilled n grooved 295mm £159 from aztec performance (rear) brake tech performance discs drilled n grooved 290mm £159 from aztec performance mintex 115 pads for the front and rear (not searched for best price yet) stainless steel brakelines all round (not searched for best price yet) new brake fluid so now my list of questions!! has anyone used these discs and pads before and opinions? do those rear discs fit the hawkeye as they are only list for MY01-MY05? do i really need to upgrade the rear disc over standard as will never be going on track? are the mintex pads worth it over aztecs kevlar fast road or the standard subaru ones, or are there better pad options ebc, ferrodo etc? which brake fluid to use? and lastly will i notice a considerable improvement over the standard discs and past? i know its a lot of questions but cheers for any help/opinions! cheers jebus

mines is a hawk and it had the panasonic battery, i have a/c sat nav and double din dvd and the battery couldnt take it, had the car 2 years and the battery had went flat about 5 times. bit the bullet and upgraded to a heavy duty battery. my journeys time and mileage was near enough exactly the same as yours and it just wasnt enough over time to keep the voltage up.

does definetly sound like a wheel balancing issue! never had the problem on a car but the trucks in work do this above 50mph when the wheel balancing is out.

could be a battery issue i know when mine had the battery flat it would beep when turning the key in the ignition? could it be possible your battery could be right on the limit of flat/enough charge? if thats possible???

never bought anything off them but used to peruse there website quite regularly when i had my civic type-r. cant really tell you much as never bought anything from them, apart from they have been about for 5-7 years and were predominantly a honda specialist. maybe better askin on a honda forum?
