just been on to elephant, they say that as graphics dont affect the performance they dont count and so will not put ma policy up!! happy days!!!!

as you will be aware from an earlier topic gona get the monster graphics done. was just wondering will they need to be declared and will they put the insurance up? any one with graphics be able to answer this? cheers jebus

the reasons its dearer with the same company is that you loose all your loyalty bonuses, which are an extra discount on top of no claims. i went to change mine from a 10 month bonus accelerator to 12 months with elephant and it near enough doubled in price. guy on phone explained to me why.

well thats it decided then blue blue blue!!! hadnt thought of the dark blue at the front and i really like it cheers for the photo shop image, thats some really good work. brian not decided on a defo place yet, still scouring the net found a few places down south so far decent price and would allow me whatever colours i wanted. cheers jebus

cheers for the replys guys. the blue is starting to work on me, probs will all depend on how much first one will cost. have found a few places on net for fitting, and dont wory i will be sure to post pics and hopefully get along to some meets as am probs gona join at end of jan as well. oh and might be having to give andy f a visit in the new year.....dammit the bug just bit!!!

ok am thinking of gettin the monster graphics done as i havent seen anyone with them and i think they look quite good. was just wondering opinions on this. as the gb270 is blue should i get somewhere to do the full body wrap in black like the first 2 images or will it look good on blue 3rd image, does anyone know how much the black wrap would cost? also are decal kits easy to fit. if they aint does anyone know somewhere good to fit them and price? also i wouldnt be getting the door numbers, or rear window details and would changeing the blue on the first 2 pics to yellow work for a blue body?? cheers jebus

cheers for the pics guys, does look like a good splitter and good value. gona wait an see if any one puts pics of a black splitter on a blue scoob, as i still dont know how it will look compared to a body coloured one. thanx jebus

well the wonderfull snow in my street managed to remove my front splitter for me. unfortunately its done it in 2 bits!! subaru looking for 500 quid for a new one painted to match rest of car, but could get an aftermarket black sti one for £180. 2 options are insurance claim+subaru origional one (£150 excess)OR the black sti one, although the gb270 is a limited edition would this be right??? opinions pls thanx jebus

looks to be getting sorted under warranty now. the warranty dept knocked it back at first sayin it was a stone chip!! however it was reckoned that this was down to the photo quality, so charlie at grieves took some better ones and sent them off. subaru said they wanted there paint specalist to have a look, so he did on monday and agreed that it was not a chip but a paint issue. so its goin in for a respray n fix in about a week. glad to get it sorted under warranty. so again hawkeye owners keep an eye on the paint round the handle surround in case this aint a one off issue cheers jebus

have a gb270 as well mine has went down from about £850 to £750, with elephant. still gona do a bit of shoppin around though!

yeah thats where ive to go, not too familiar with airth so i will be sat naving it......hope i dont end up at the top a mountain or in a loch!!

took it in yesterday, they dont have a body shop so ive gota take it to get a quote. the one they gave me is in airth so i wont be able to get over till wednesday. once they get the quote they will make a decision.

only got the car in january and its now just 3 years old

noticed a bit of rust on the passenger side door, its under the door handle surround. smaller than a 5p the now, going to take it to ian grieves tommorow presume it will be covered. as the surround slots into the actual door i think water may have got in behind it. just thought a would post this up so everyone would be aware of it that it may be an issue on the hawks.. cheers jebus

was wondering if it is possible to change the colour of the backlight on the speedo etc. i have a gb270 and fancied changeing the colour to neon blue, would match the car better. has anyone done this on a hawk? if it has to be done buy a company, any ballpark figures? cheers jebus

just outside of glasgow, have ordered some stuff from meguiars. they had a online guide so gona give that a go. as for the arms like popeye i like a challenge, and could do with bigger arms!! lol
