  1. its basically whatever you want not anyone else, i have the monster energy graphics and its generally 50/50 with ppls opinions. some like graphics some dont, however as i do they are on my car. if YOU want them on get it done if you dont want them dont get them.....simples!
  2. go compare guy, or the guy that raps(tries) in that new advert for right move i think?
  3. i'll second that!! oh wait ive got a gb270......ah damn
  4. was just coming out of tesco cumbernauld and there right in the middle of the road was a huge tesco tanker, the driver was flashing his lights and waving his hands, and was displaying a blatant dis-regard for the safety of everyone elso on the planet! With that amount of fuel and size of the truck this was a very dangerous and i must admit scary event! I have a good mind to report this maniac to tesco but i am fearfull of revenge attacks from the driver if i ever see him again! on a more truthfull note was too busy fannying about with the air con to wave back in time phil
  5. have not heard good things about them in relation to them not lasting very long compared to other pads.
  6. hmmm i will go with the mintex then if the red stuff aint too good.
  7. i know i had posted a thread before about brakes, but i think i have changed ma mind (hopefully for the last time lol) was gona go for the brake tech discs front and rear and mintex 114 or 115 pads but i thinks im gona go for the ebc pads and discs instead. linky to brakes Gona go for the braided brake lines and EBC red stuff pads and either the EBC turbo groove discs or the EBC ultimax discs, as they are the same price i would like to know: does any one have either of them fitted? which ones are best? any opinions on the quality/ or how long the discs and pads will last its for the subaru 4 pots and it would only be for road use cheers guys
  8. east links place looks like the favourite so far cheers buddy
  9. gona do something on on may day with my son he is 3 years old, but cant think what?? so anyone got any suggestion for somewhere to go?? preferably around glasgow/edinburgh area?? thought about the zoo but its pretty dependent on the weather?? cheers guys
  10. hmm never seen it, think i will need to keep an eye out when am down that way!
  11. anti lag also very bad for the chocolate pistons on the 2.5!!
  12. glad you dented her door back but a very simple thing to do in tesco cumbernauld is do what i do, park in 2 spaces not 1. i usually park at the fence where the delivery vans sit as well as its quieter there and so not as many ****wits!!
  13. mine does this and i really need new discs n pads. so it could be this.
  14. i had it when i first got mine, was 2 year old, the switches were fooked. only took them an hour to sort it but i cant advise on price as they were replaced under warranty.
  15. ahh forgot about the wonders of youtube!! off i go then an afternoon of video watching beckons!!
  16. ive seen it done on tv, that stobart program on ch5 with a wallpaper steamer?? anyone done it that way? would it be better than the hairdryer??
  17. av got the monster energy graphics on cheers anyway!
  18. right the car has got to go in and get a respray on the passenger side. was done last year under warranty by subaru, the company that are done it are doin it free off charge as its only been a year so this aint the issue im happy with that. The dilema i have is that as the graphics are now on the car they will have to come off the 2 doors on that side, the company wont pay to replace them which i understand, however i dont know wether to get replacement ones or take the rest off?? so how hard are they likely to be to get off?? will it damage the paint work? it all depends how much the replacements will be as there are more pressing things on the car for money to be spent on i.e discs n pads. cheers jebus
  19. pretty sure the seatbelts in the hawkeye are considered to be the webbing kind and i have no problems whatsoever!! buckle crunch is a word one of them has invented and now when you go to buy a car seat they all use it!! think, blue sky thinking or think outside the box, buzz words that people like to repeat. ma wee boy is now 3 and has been in 2 car seats in the scoob with no problems at all!! remember according to them we should all be using isofix chairs anyway!! bit like being told to wear 2 condoms as it would be safer than 1!! lol
  20. yep had people in ma street complain that its to loud as they can hear it in there house when there windows are open!! really close the feckin things then. also poisonous cow who has a house next to the back yard of ma work said it was unnecessary as she was trying to enjoy her garden??? me personally i love the nur spec r
  21. Am I the only person that thinks Tokyo Drift is actually quite good Wasn't sure about it the first time I saw it but think it's pretty damn good! shame it took such a diversion from the 'story line'? Havent seen it but Green Hornet is supposedly really crap either as a car film or otherwise. 1. DRIVEN - sly stallone as a F1 driver. Such a poor film 2. Tokyo Drift - pile of shit ... 3. Drive - Crap all round. 4. The Green Hornet 5. the transporter- just pish!! i thought drive was ok, bit slow for the first hour though!
  22. if you want an exhaust the blitz nur spec r is the one to go for!!!
  23. adam the 6 speed will only bother you if you want to mod above 350bhp, the 5 speed gets you to above 80mph no problems at all (so ive heard ) with the quick shift as standard subaru list it quicker to 60 than a sti but the sti is quicker to 100mph. it never bothered me and i done the exact same move as your thinking off! as the engine is the 2.5 its has plenty of torque to go with the bhp so you will notice a difference re grunt....a fecking good one! it wouldnt take much to get to 300bhp but remember if you are already on a insurance budget mods are gonna hurt you!
  24. insurance for the gb270 is exactly the same as the insurance for the sti also you shld be able to get a low mileage 30kish gb270 for between 10k-11k do not pay anywhere near 13k for one!! they are mainly all on sale for 10-11ish!!
