  1. would these faults be enough to make it think its a kangaroo at anything over 3000 revs??

its spot on when its parked revs no probs...soon as you start driving its ok under 3000 revs anything over it starts kangarooing like feck.... ?

seems to be building pressure fine (although not checked with boost gauge)...

  2. Most tints are only stuck on with water so should pull off once you get them started. If on the back window with heater wires i would maybe use a hair dryer as not to pull tem too bits ;)

;) all you're usually left with is a sticky residue but some glue and tar remover sorts that out

  3. And your surprised how? I'd never let anyone from Halfrauds anywhere near my car...

;) the ****s haven't got a clue.. they nearly set me mates car on fire when they fitted an amp for him... wouldn't let them wire a plug...

pity you're not closer to me davey i would ave installed it all for you m8.... ;)

  4. tbh satin black isn't a costly job if you can paint cars...

i'm looking at about £200 all in for the paint and maybe 2 days prepping and 3 painting.....

i've went for a single stage satin.... cos 2 stage can have problems with the matte lacquer... with single stage its a whole heap easier....2 days prep and 2 days paint with extra day for unforseen issues..

that and my trade is auto body.... gonna do whole spray job myself...

will upload tutorial if enough interest.....

gonna hire a booth for 5 days..... so gives me 1 day extra for unforseen issues.... can get booth for £80 per day....

was thinking satin black with cusco ze zero graphics in white and red......white p1 style wheels... all opinions greatly recieved...

  5. I think mine would sooner wash the car with a brick than soapy water!

 lucky you mine would rather use some petrol and a match.... apparently i spend more time washing n polishing the car than anything else.. (whatever that means)

thats a tidy blob you got

  6. as far as the paint mixing goes then in most places with there own mixing gear then thats the norm, using your colour code they can get the mix for it and mix it themselves, if you were perhaps doing the spraying yourself at home for example then you would go to a paint supplier and they would do it the exact same way.

Why only half front bumper respray???? would be just as easy to paint the full bumper..

the place i use for me painting would probably charge £100 per bumper, £180 for both skirts,£60 for wing mirror then whatever for the dents (cost on these is down to prep/repair costs/time and how much paint etc is required to blend the repairs back in).

other factor is the time it takes to prep all the items.

  7. Wow that was funny

Well i wouldn't buy one with that many miles on it unless i had information showing me that it had been re-built!! each to there own though...fire on  lol

mine was rebuilt at 110,000 using sti parts so all is well
