  1. Hi Jonboy Glad you found the times ok, if you are stuck, need directions, or get lost stick my number in your mobile and give me a ring any time. Cheers for now John
  2. ah boo as it looks ok from the first picture, thanks for the update though good to know
  3. It has got a boot lid, i have only ever seen the jelly mould shape
  4. Spotted this today on a trawl throught the net, looks like the Impreza saloon is gonna make a come back by the looks of things, all we need now is for the World Rally team now to start using it, slap on some gold wheels and some fluro yellow stickers and get back to the image everyone knows and loves. This subaru global image is doing them no favours on the tv, before you could spot the SWRT Impreza miles away and now it just blends in with ford......come on prodrive sort Subaru's marketing department out, the new image is bland lol.
  5. Hi Folks Wow, I am gob smacked at you guys! Superb turnout! I have a wee PDF poster, if you want a copy, send me your email address. It's nothing spectacular but you might like it. Thanks to the McRae Gathering team for letting me use their logo for this wee gathering. No pressure but half of them are now coming lol. Anyway, if you need directions please give me a ring or email me. The meeting place is the Edinburgh Road Car Park, Peebles. If you are coming from the Edinburgh end, you just keep following the main road and it is the first big car park that you come to marked "P" lol you cannot miss it, it is a fair old size and is on your right hand side. If you are coming from Glasgow you enter the town via Neidpath Castle you continue down into the town centre, proceed up the High Street, up to the Petrol station, turn left at the mini round about and that is you on the Edinburgh road, the car park will be 500 yds on the left hand side. I will give you a wave as you arrive. I am trying to sort out the bacon rolls as we speak in order that they are ready for you arriving, easier said than done in a car park lol! Anyone coming from other parts of the Borders let me know and I will arrange to meet you at a central point in Gala. Keep in touch folks and thanks again to you all. John

  18. Hi Frank Well I was thinking !! lol a rare thing, that I am going to start further down the Borders and gather up as many people as I can and then meet the people from outwith the area in Peebles, a fine Borders toon, it is the nearest Borders town to Penicuick and as this is the first Borders run I thought we had better meet in the Borders, however I am totally flexible on where people want to meet me, I appreciate there are people coming from all over the place. Hope this helps John
  19. Hi Folks The details for the run are as follows On the 22nd November 2008 the Borders Branch of the Subaru Impreza Drivers Club, will venture off on their first ever club outing, the run will leave Peebles at 9.30am to visit the AF Noble Subaru Dealership in Penicuik to view a very special car. The car in Question is a rare Limited Edition Impreza 22B model that formerly belonged to the 1995 World Rally Champion Colin McRae MBE.
