Hi Folks Just a word of warning, the local Radio Station has been reporting that the Police will have high level patrols on Rural roads this weekend as part of a high level safety campaign, so please keep an eye out and watch your speed. The weather is so unpredictable at the moment the weather report states dry but cold, looking out the window it is raining heavily, so any nice clean cars will not be clean for long Look forward to seeing you all Saturday. Hi Folks Updated list for Saturdays run, the weather is looking ok according to the BBC, it looks as if it is to be dry and bright, fingers crossed x. Anyway a wee word of warning the Police know we are meeting so just watch your speed when you get into Peebles. There is a Shell Petrol Station in Peebles that serves V Power, it is located on the Edinburgh side of Peebles on Crossburn Filling Station 85-91 Edinburgh Road Peebles EH45 8ED, about 1/2 a mile from the car park we are meeting in. When you arrive I will give you a bacon roll and a carton of Orange, best I could do in a car park lol, bring some lunch as I have no idea what time we may get away from the garage. Total Impreza have been in touch and they are hoping to send someone, if they can't get someone to the day they will do a wee feature in early 2009 on the day......so bring your camera's. Once the garage visit is over there is a wee run organised around the central Borders taking in the more scenic parts away from the main towns, I will update those interested at Penicuick, I appreciate that people travelling from further a field may wish to depart afterthe garage visit. At this stage I just want to say a big thank you to Mike and Colin at AF Noble for allowing this wee event to happen, I am sure it will be a good day.
