hi Folks Got a few thanks to pass onto you all from the Organisers at the Jim Clark Rally they were really pleased with the club supporting the event, to Kaylz Gordon and Fiona for the help on Saturday setting the stand up and for supporting the event throughout the entire weekend. To everyone who attended on a chaotic Friday night, the organisers were totally caught out with the number of spectators that attended on Fiday night, our stand was at one point totally over run. Big up to Andrew Whitehead and his Dad at Aitchisons Garage in Duns, they were so helpful, friendly and accommodating all weekend. Car of the show Imy's RA attracted a lot of interest on Saturday and was washed and polished by Kaylz and Gordon. Without doubt I have to say a big big Thank You to A F Noble for trusting me with their brand new White STI it had only just arrived and they trusted me with it for the weekend, so thanks to Alex, Colin, Mike and Derek at the Garage for everything. Grant, Imy and G Mac did a cracking job on the McRae vision stand so big thanks for coming down guys a long way to come but really appreciated you being there. Anyway thanks again and see you all again at the Falkirk Wheel Event, over to you Bobby. Cheers John

Hi Folks Quick update for those coming via the A68 OR A7 when you get near Duns you will be diverted via Gavinton, watch out for this diversion, it brings you out almost at the roundabout where Aitchisons Garage is located. A1 is a straight into town I believe. Tommi Makinnens Evo and a Gulf Aston Martin Le Mans car are on the same site as us!! we will of course upstage them!!!! Hi Frank I am working on the organiser just now to try and get all the cars on the stand, I am not going to know till Friday, I am sensing as our stand is growing in size they may give in to me, believe you me I am putting a fair bit of pressure on them to get us at the front!! fingers crossed. From what I am hearing we will have the Pirelli Rally Simulator and Berwick Bandits Speedway beside us. This along with the SIDC remote control car challenge should be fun!!! If anyone has a stop watch could you bring it with you!! I have also been given a SWRT rally jacket from AF Noble to give away worth £100, it will be given to the highest sponsor of the Scooby Scramblers Walk Over the West Highland Way Non Stop. All the money goes to Charity Anyway still loads to do, i promise their is loads to see in Duns on Friday and Saturday. Cheers John

Hi Frank The roads are closing at 7pm so if you still want to come you are more than welcome I will leave a slot for you, the court yard is at the side of the garage apparantly, I have not seen it yet so I cannot really comment. The want the stand manned for 6 but I did say people may be late, I am suspecting that you will still get to the garage up to 7pm. Just let me know what suits you, would be great to get as many cars as possible. cheers John

Hi Folks Here is the latest, with so many cars from SIDC our stand will be split into 2 parts, 4/5 cars at the front of the garage and the rest will make up a display in the court yard, the organisers are really pleased so many SIDC members are supporting this. On Saturday we are getting the entire front area of the garage, they are expecting both days to be busy. We are right in the middle of the street stage and at one of the best vantage points. I am afraid everyone has to be on the stand for 6pm and once you are there you have to stay till 10pm, the roads will close at 7pm sharp. I am thinking I will try and get another car to take people out to the stages, does this appeal to people? Thanks again to everyone for your help and support it is really appreciated. John
