  1. I have a feeling then that you're going to somewhat lacking in the tea department rather soon then Ed
  2. Thought they might have been... to be honest, they're so insignificant I haven't paid them enough attention to notice!
  3. Right well from what I understand having read that three or four times to be sure, that law only affects classics with bulbs and ballasts added after the point of purchase that use the original headlight shell. Bugeyes, blobeyes hawkeyes (and hatches?) would be allowed to fit them as HID was an option on all and with the headlight shell being essenially the same, they meet the minimum criteria. Aftermarket headlights for the classics would most likely also be legal because they wouldve been made to the same manufacturing criteria. What a bloody great waste of time and taxpayers money coming up with that ****e was!!!!
  4. Have a good day mate!
  5. Been wanting to do mine for a while now... just waiting until I whack'em in the oven and detango them first though. Been working up the bottle to do it for ages now!
  6. Well I'm sure you've a pretty good idea what I'm on about anyway! April 1st by the way!

  8. Mate, I can see you fitting in a treat on here!
  9. Well I was going to say that's a little below the belt there Ed mate but to be honest, I can't find the belt... it's hidden somewhere under this errr, six pack!?!
  10. Tolerate may be a slightly more accurate description! Nope, that's just Ed - the rest of us are perfectly normal, witty, handsome young'uns that are well, ummmn, slightly prone to exaggeration when it comes to how young and err, normal we all [wish we] are!
  11. I've a few ideas that I think could work well and make for a nice, varied morning/afternoon/day out BUT... I'm going to have to keep it under wraps for now as telling you all will spill the beans on something bigger and possibly more exciting that I'm working on. Suffice to say that all will be relieved before too long!
  12. Welcome to SIDC mate
  13. Can vouch for that... truly amazing is the only way I can describe it! Well, maybe horrific is more apt? Either way, I'm still searching for my spleen after last time I was in the car! Don't think there's another 350bhp car of any marque out there that pulls anything like The Beast!
  14. Good good. Had noticed a few of you slipping into the green
  15. scoobywag! Not seen you about for a while mate but just in case, hope you have/had a good one!
  16. Yep, you're right. There's a thread here
  17. Welcome aboard chap! Get yourself along to a meet if you can, a brilliant evening - always a warm welcome From SP, Ed et al!
  18. Beautiful shine there mate... shame about the orange peel though
  19. Errr, sorry to break this to you Ed mate... I wasn't even born back then, I'm not entirely convinced Iain was either!
  20. Doesn't make it justifiable though does it. I mean think about it, that artist that uses elephant crap to paint paintings that win 'awards' and sells them for millions to mugs who've been convinced it's worth it... at the end of the day, it's still elephant ****, whatever the price tag. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Subaru or IM are crap, that's just an analogy. My point is that just because someone's willing to pay a certain price for something, it doesn't necessarily mean it is worth paying that price for... it's subjective and that I'm afraid, is where Subaru and IM have gone wrong. Anyway, back to the original point, I'm really looking forward to seeing how this all turns out with Cosworth... lets just hope they're a bit harder to steal this time!
  21. Now I know not even a HUGE lottery win would cover my list but is there any chance I would be allowed to extend my garage to hold 30 cars? There's just soooooo many nice cars being listed!
  22. Think that considering my choice, I better do this in style... 1969 Mustang Boss Mini 1275 GT Rat Rod Cobra Daytona Mmmmmmmmmm... Mk1 Escort Mexico Hakosuka RB26 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa Porche 550 Spyder Corvette Stingray Coupe Lancia Delta Integrale
  23. Judging by the lorry load of new scoobs being dropped off at Prodrive t'other night, I would assume that they're still working together and this is a one-off model. Probably a cost saving thing to be honest, aren't Cosworth Malaysian owned now? Proton I think?!?
  24. Welcome back mate!
