  1. I'm thinking, and I know this has been mentioned before, that a meeting of the 'heads of state' (Wits, Oxon, Berks and even Bucks? RO's) could be in order to arrange a series of combined meets..? One monthly meet at one of 3/4 venues each month perhaps - rotating on a monthly basis. Saves sitting alone in a car park surely? Would theoretically make for bigger monthly meets that could be interspersed with mini-meets, run outs and the like.
  2. Everyone I know from Bridgie says that... anyone would think they don't like the place!

  5. Definitely! I'm not putting mine on the rollers, just nabbing the chance for a good day out!
  6. Can't see it being an issue mate but I'm not organising the day itself so you'll need to PM Little Green Goblin to confirm... you're more than welcome to join us for the convoy up though! We're meeting at 8am in the petrol station off Peartree
  7. Looks like we'll be leaving Peartree in Oxford just after 8am so I guess we'll meet you at Zen!
  8. Hmmmmn, I'm doubting there's only >70bhp difference between yours and mine to be honest mate!
  9. Just put it on your phone mate (if you haven't already, you should!) and bring the Tequila along... I'll give you a lift!
  10. Yep, easy enough to meet him en route I guess! Starts at 9:30 doesn't it? When do you want to set out? Not entirely sure where I'm going either but I'm sure the mighty Google Maps will see us right! You've my number don't you? Feel free to give me a bell.
  11. I'll probably be leaving earlier as well mate so maybe a convoy up/back is in order?
  12. Sounds like a plan guys! Sure I could sort a venue
  13. Should be going along mate... replied to your comment on FB
  14. Like I said on PM, cheers Rick! Will speak to you on Sunday but I'm thinking it may actually take longer coming up to see you (and making tea ) than it would to just get off my a*** and do it myself... The Werkstatt kit could do with some use anyway... all six coats of it!
  15. No one's as old as Matt, well, except maybe Ed!
  16. Happy Birthday Col According to the forum, you're 42... can't be right can it?!? I thought you were younger!
  17. I'll let you know asap mate, not sure who will be coming with me in the scoob and who will follow later and park in the main carpark (if I've even sorted another car by then), it's all a little up in the air at the mo!
  18. lol, at that Sainsbury's they have an ice cream tub of water... for the WHOLE CAR!!!!
  19. Cheers Col mate I usually prefer to do it myself (don't really trust anyone else) but with time being as it is, I would rather she got a full valet from someone recommended than a quick squirt down at the jet wash! Might sound really bad but the idea of going to a garage/car wash for a 'valet' just fills me full of dread... I've seen them cleaning the cars at Heyford Hill in the past... drop the sponge, pick it up and just carry on regardless, stones n'all!!!!
  20. As I've been driving the Golf to work to keep the miles on the scoob down, she's been used for the school run and now she needs in need of a little tlc! As I don't have a spare weekend between now and PCAD/Abingdon, I was wondering if any of you could recommend a local(ish) valeting company? The Mrs has offered to get the scoob a full valet for my Birthday Had a look around Google etc but they either seem clueless or wanting to do waterless cleaning and that's NOT happening! Thanks in advance guys! Cheers, Stu
  21. Hmmmmn, that'll never happen!
  22. You guessed it! Right around the time of Jilted Generation, even had a furry mammoth fleece that I used to wear as well... There's worse photos, like the checkerboard hair, the star, the errr, mullet and I even had a mohawk at one stage but those photos are WELL hidden!
  23. I think we've all been there with dodgy hair when we where young...
  24. For keeping your hands warm when you pushed it? Sorry, I know you saw that coming but someone had to say it! It's the law!
