  1. Sounds like a sign there mate! Sorry to hear that though!
  2. Thanks guys, much appreciated, it's a 2003 blob. Shall get on the phone immediately.
  3. Congratulations to those who worked out it was safe now Thank f**k...now all we need is for them to stay open till tomorrow at least!
  4. Very nice - look at that shine!! Not sure about the foreign object in the middle though!
  5. As long as you're no touching them at my wedding!
  6. Purchased spoiler for G and he had someone else fit it - all be it incorrectly. Problem is, he has been working away for nearly a month and when we had that heavy rain for a while back it's leaked. It actually filled up the whole spare wheel compartment and was above carpet level in the boot!!!! = Progressing to seep through the back seats - so much so that when you pushed down in the material the water filled up around your fingers. :( I discovered this by looking for something in the back of the car while he was away. Since this, I have done a very hilarious silicone job. Trust me, when you are lifting spoilers and have a pregnant belly while trying to silicone seal...it gets messy with things like baby bumps getting in the way! The original spoiler couldn't go back on because there were holes drilled for the new spoiler. So to sum it up, we had a scorching two weeks and it's dried it out - I removed the wooden support base for the carpet although it's all warped The carpet is all water stained and has gone "curly" at the edges. Which brings me to the problem needing urgently solved, The back seats have a mesh layer over the material and the whole driver side is all water marked and starting to smell Anyone in the central region that you can recommend to valet and save our car !!??? I would wash it myself with our upholstery cleaner but it's got that mesh and I don't want to damage it. Should I pour rice on the seats? - someone recommended that to me? Oh and while I'm at it - anyone that can recommend a place to get a spoiler fitted "correctly". No picture requests of the silicone job please!!
  7. You guys are stars thanks! I suppose a couple of different shapes might actually be nice I'm sure you will end up with a pride of place on a big canvas if we can arrange something! I'm afraid I'm all out of funds though as this wedding & baby on the way is bleeding us dry! Can help out with some fuel bills? Ceremony is about 2.30PM so hopefully photos at approx 3.30 - 4? ish Unfortunately there's no specific time but it will be in that time window. As long it's blue I'd imagine the shape wouldn't matter entirely - oh and clean preferably I'm not sure how the photos will be done as of yet but I'd imagine 3 would be enough. Unfortunately G is stuck in Gulf of Mexico due to the volcanic ash so I'll be able to confirm more when he returns. Could you guys PM me a picture of your car? or link to it? Much appreciated folks!
  8. 2. July 2: Set all the alarm clocks in Housewares to go off a 5 minute intervals. I have to say I've caught G doing this with the Egg timers in Tesco!!!
  9. Are any of you free on the 19th of June at around 4PM for about 30 mins? We're getting married and are looking to get some nice pictures with some scoobs in white ribbon! We need about 3 blue boys and any blob eyes are preferred Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance, PM's welcome P.s it's in Dunkeld.
  10. Yep, other half was working in Gulf of Mexico on a rig. Managed to get off it last Wednesday and then been stuck in New Orleans ever since Supposedly getting flight to Memphis then Amsterdam but they've cancelled the flight to edin from amsterdam :@ Jeez seems like he's never getting home! Was considering a drive...but the ferries are all booked up!! As mentioned above...the joys of double time is great but then it's steadily wearing off now!!!!
  11. Just what we need aswell I'll fix the list for you... 1. Performance Friction Z-Rated pads front Brembo - Arch 2.Westtra 3.Sco UK 4.STI Pretender 5.Kaylz555 (Red stuff)
  12. Cheap car insurance - I think it really just depends on what company you pick and what your customer profile is (inclusive of job type, position, age male or female etc.) We're not too bothered about daytime parking as the cars/ car will be at home or at work . The Uni trips are going to be via public transport by the sounds of it being so difficult to park near. Definitely interested in places with garages obviously in the best locations. It's just like anywhere I suppose there's good and bad places.
  13. Yaaaass! (said in Scottish Glasgow accent) It's Pure minteeeed man!
  14. We think it looks more like a Scooby with it!!!!
  15. As per the title.... And also... why can't it snow really heavy here!!!
  16. Thanks very much for that. Had a quick look and see what you mean. Ellon looks lovely and the prices are around the right price for now - so will be good to keep an eye on. Even finding places with garages and cellars within our budget So that's got to be a convincing!
  17. Waiting on a promised goat sir! Cheers
  18. Yeah Goat them if you like! I think Gordon is going to Nigeria.... Don't know what will happen with myself once I finish uni, mind you. I'm not too sure if you just get chucked offshore for your post-grad experience or what? I'm going up to find out more as there are many scholarships that you can go through where you actually get paid to complete the degree. Do you guys know anyone where both partners work offshore??? Suppose we're worried we'll have conflicting schedules for 6 months out the year. For some people that would be a god send though All fun and games eh? Good luck mate, something to be proud of! Think of pay day
  19. Think that was Gordon's intentions I need to buy him one now - kept him amused for hours! Thanks again John, you did well to get through all the stress! And the team effort went down well! No probs Imy , have to say it did take a bit of effort it was boggin'!!!! But it's absolutely gorgeous Oh and John - we defo need the barrier police at any future events! I mean er.. Fiona That was so funny - we're stilllaughing at so many things - I think the banter was what made the weekend for us both apart from the actual rallying. Cheers, G&K
