  1. I've actually seen a good few subarus at the carwash place in Kilsyth
  2. You could try a thread about using a sponge that lies on the ground and used to clean the whole of your car(including arches)?? Might get a closer response to what you expected lol Although, seeing they £3 car washes qued out the door does grind my gears
  3. Were you hoping for another detailing thread warzone??
  4. Nice choice mate, they look cracking!!
  5. If working by hand then I'd recommend Autoglym Super Resin Polish, it won't remove the scratches but will fill them and make them a lot less noticable, will also give a good shine If by machine and the scratches are very light, a finishing pad and something like Meguires #80 would do the trick I have a photobucket account for putting up pics
  6. White on white, got to be my favourite car and wheel colour!!
  7. Got to agree, I thought about putting Black Pro Race 1.2's on my subaru but when I saw similar pictures it just didn't look right
  8. Jesus, you are grumpy today!
  9. Different wheels but gives an idea
  10. The pics there make me unsure, I know someone with graphite wheels on there classic and it looks good, just trying to find a pic just now
  11. Starting to loose the shape of the wheels now though with the darker colour
  12. .....I've started a war
  13. Could maybe make them darker as there is still too much bronze coming through, hmmm....
  14. I'll give photoshop a blast for ya
  15. Run like the wind mate!! Save the scoob!!!
  16. I would always recommend polishing after claying a car, if you are working by hand I would recommend Autoglym Super Resin Polish (Which i bet you already have ), will make all the difference
  17. Would really like to do this, especially in my own car as I'v never been on knockhill and getting very interested in these track nights . I had a driving experience "Ferrari Day" for my 21st but it was down in york, and rainned so much that they only let us drive the cars in straight lines really! The first time I actually drove a subaru was down there, some sort of prodrive rally kitted one, was the best fun car to drive there (Ferrari, GT3, Elise), knew I would own one after drive it
  18. Sorry mate bored at work, and as said I ain't making you read them There was a good few other Subarus there at Loudoun on sunday, any from on here??
  19. Started this at about 11.30pm after doing the evo and a punto, only time i get to do the scoob lol Spent about 2 hours on it - Wheels APC'd and the car snow foamed with a mix of SSF and Gold Class - Rinsed then dry'd with drying towel and Megs LT - Once the car was dry, Megs #7 Show glaze was applied by hand then spread evenly with rotary and finshing pad - Finished off with CG's Wet Wet Wet Wax Who says you can't get reflections on silver ;-) - In the morning before heading out, the scoob was wiped down with last touch then another coat of wet wet wet wax applied. All tucked up after a busy day at Loudoun Castle New splitter arrived this morning too so that will be my plans for tonight sorted
