hi johnny only hitting 14psi boost. thanks for the offer but think am goin to go down the road of an ecu and remap due to my mods goin for walbro fuel pump, 550 injectors, fuel pressure regulator and front mount intercooler hoping to get it over 300 bhp just need a bit more to keep infront of ma bro. will look into getting 440 modified thanks m8

thanks arch was planing getting it mapped when fitting the headers and also a front mount intercooler but ran out of funds just wanting a bit more power to annoy my brother av put 550 injectors on my wish list

thanks guys uve been very helpfull. arch its still the 16g turbo but av got sti 440 injectors not fitted yet just need to save up for box and diff mite change the clutch to try save the box any advice on a clutch? ciaranrb5 the engine is fine i hope done 70000 mile got the car 7 years ago with 45000km on the clock and av serviced it every year, always heated up before driving usually wash it when its ticking over and cooled down with the turbo timer. i will get in touch about the ecu av not got any spare cash at the moment thanks for the offer.

well sinse av broke the box av been looking at options for tunning it for next year but i am very limited due to lack of funds. can`t aford a 6 speed or uprated gears so am goin for a later ty754 so the info i need is: will a bug eye wrx fit and what power can it handle? what power can my engine handle its a wrx type ra with the original closed deck engine? the mods r so far jap speed headers, 3" down pipe with fast flow cat reduced to 2.5" system, hypersingle clutch, apexi indution kit can i put more power in it safely. another problem is i can`t go full boost sinse fitting the headers cause the fuel cut kicks in could`t keep up with a skoda vrs but bfore i could keep up with my bro`s wr1 so will a fuel cut deffender b ok to run or will i need to go for an apexi ecu. just looking for advice so i can start striping it and get it ready for nxt summer so far this year av had 6 days use of it so am hoping to have more luck nxt year. any advise welcome caus av not got a clue what to do.

what gasket you using i had the same problem with genuine subaru gaskets so tryed midlands exhaust on ebay and av had no problems

been looking at 6 speed boxs but out my price range at the moment. tryed looking for uprated gears but all i can find is scoobyclinic helical gear kit which is more expensive than a 6 speed so i defo can`t do that. is there a classic gearbox that would be strong enough for 350bhp or will i need to keep it at the power its got at the moment

on way home from work i lost 3rd gear and won`t go into 1st or 2nd so av lost another gearbox option 1, send the 3 gearbox i have to a specialist 2 make 1 option 2, buy another classic box option 3, try and get a newage box but not sure what i will need for it hoping to get it up about 350 bhp so if anyone can give me advice i would be greatfull

does that mean i can sue verve for damaging ma gearbox

hi guys started repairing the wireing on my ra got a loom from benny boy the plugs all match mine bar 1 its a big red plug with 2 connections on it around the battery area can anyone tell me what this is for?

nope just a normal brake tester

both my classic and wr1 worked fine on the the brake test rolling road never heard of a brake test on public roads

if you don`t mind it being outside theres plenty of room in my brothers drive

the left hand indicators is staying on constant not flashing and the sidelights r staying on. if you take the key out the ignition and put the parking light on the ignition comes on hense if you start it and put the parking lights on and take the key out it still runs. the wires that goe from the ignition to alarm system melted and caused it to cut the ignition off. i have removed the alarm but no change and the wires coming from ignition heat up. i don`t know if this has something to do with it but the alternator stopped working and put my spare 1 in now that 1 has stopped charging the battery.

av been trying to solve the electrical problem with my scooby but i`ve had no joy so am looking for an auto electrician to look at it for me but i don`t want some monkey looking at it that hasn`t got a clue my m8 is 1 but he hasn`t got a clue he said put a new loom in and see if it melts but i would rather find the fault then fix it rather than guess caqn anybody help me?

its stewart moffat from newmains he got it to use for trailer tests he used to work for bsm and they gave him a 1.7 diesel astra and had a fall out caus he wanted something bigger and they sayed no so quit. it was either a scooby or a freelander just wish he got bfore i done my trailer test

since av been tryin to mod my ra everything i touched on it broke or went wrong nothing but broken bolts, wrong parts delivered and parts that wouldn`t fit but eventully got it running for mod live show with a few small problems, the left indicator stuck on and the side lights were constant on and when the parking light was on the ignition was on. in the cue to get parked the dash started smoking but was fine all day, let it tick over for 10 mins bfore leaving and it was fine so we took off and got about 10 miles from knockers and the dash started smoking and th car cut out. stripped the dash and all the wires coming from the ignition to the alarm was fried to had to get recovered home gutted. so looks like am going to be out of action for rest of summer need to save up for a new loom me thinks and get a sparky to check it. big thanks to sti pretender for stoping and offering the loan of a tow rope greatly appreciated.

got the ra motd today and passed with flying colours took it for a wee drive and my side lights came on themselves and the left hand indicator came on and is constant on not flashing, so thought a problem with the indicator stalk so started to strip it and hit the parking light and the ignition came on with key on the seat nxt to me, the hazard swith is putting the ignition on and off with the flashing, can someone please help am trying to get it to modified live on sunday
