I want to put a 2.5 in it with suporting mods up to about 330 bhp ish but she just wants it running so we r goin to wait till i get a job. If she wants it standard i might give her my engine and build my own monster.

moved the car tonite and the engine went BANG!!! bits of metal lying about so new block needed.

think my big end has gone? does anybody know if you can replace bearings with engine in car or does the block need split?

Hi guys my girlfriend bought a wrx type ra and i was told it was japspeed headers but am not 100% sure, they look like they have been on for a while, the only problem is the welds are starting to blow where they join at the up pipe.

Hi m8 i have been using proshine waterless spray and shine for 5 years on my type ra and have been using it on my wr1 and it has never left a scratch not even when it has been thick with dirt and very surprised with the shine it gives.

I looked at the spec c but the wr1 was cheaper to insure.

what is the main diference between them?

Does anybody on here have 1 or knows anybody that has 1. it is on the scooby world web site was just lookin for info about fitment and is it worth it.

The car is slightly modied at the moment full monza body kit with large spoiler and sti8 scoop ninja down pipe custom exhaust apexi induction kit exedy hyper single clutch don`t know what to do next any sujestions will help.

sad day guys sold my wr1 today all is not lost goin to use some of the money and put my type ra back on the road just means i won`t be able to keep up at the cruises.

I was in your situation with my 1994 wrx type ra spent a fortune on it in 4 year it had 3 gearbox`s 3 clutches so most of the time i used my girlfriends car so i decided to buy a newer car, my girlfriends uncle had a fq340 tuned to 415 bhp it was an ausome car but it was also 1 of the most uncomfortable cars i`ve sat in. a firend of mines brother had fq360 and told me every time he took it out and gave it a thrashing it had to go mitsubishi constant problems with cluth, flywheel,rear diff and drive shafts. so i had a think and decided on a wr1 and i can honestly say its the best car i`ve driven and can say that i have gave it a few good thrashings since february and it has never gave me any caus for consern, stick with a subaru at the end of the day you can`t see it from the inside.

Hi m8 he works for total magazine so he uses there log in. They where on it when he got it but i will ask him if he knows where to get them caus he has alot of contacts through the magazine.
