Too scared to pish off the government! Most people only care for themselves, that was made crystal clear being stranded and the selfish attitude people had during the heavy snow at Christmas. Totally agree with bringing the country to a halt but i think the tanker drivers were told if they strike again they would be sacked anyway the government also mentioned using the army the next time a blockade started. If i were a tanker driver i wouldn't strike unless the whole country stood by me. Interestingly not one political part has mentioned slashing fuel duty pre election afaik

Yeah when the car is actually moving the centrifugal force [slight if any] will expel the brake dust 'outwards' and away from the centre of the hub/disc rota
