  2. Damn fine price for that intercooler!!!!!!! Grant
  3. From what i have heard Claire, you can fit a TD05/06 20g to a std 97 UK Silver ECU without any problem. The flux capacitor needs adjusted and the jiggle pin needs stroked but apart from that it will be fine. Grant
  4. Correct-e-mundo. Now take the rest of yesterday off, you have earned it. Herbie, Looks like a nice combination that will produce a good few more ponies. Do you have a Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator and Uprated fuel pump to aid this new breathing apperatus. The uprated pump and regulator will give a greater degree of safety under a high boost/revs situation. Grant
  5. You cant get much better than HKS coilovers, sorry should have said that you cant get much harder than HKS coilovers. At least it was dry and i did not kill him!!!!!!!!!!! In a strange way the suspension feels softer on todays journey. Ally, all will be well when you put a new turbo on her and you were lucky with the MAF so go buy yourself a lottery ticket. Grant
  6. Good to hear friend. Next time wait until you are fully clear of the roundabout before you hit the loud pedal I like those alloys on it, nowt wrong with the old alloys but the do suit it Grant
  7. Mine was done today and the poor old squirrels mind can be laid to rest. Couple of adjustments to the fuelling and it is GAME ON MOFO 2000rpm to 6500rpm is now despatched with confidence and efficiencey. Now just need to find a smooth bit of tarmac to enjoy God bless AndyF and all who he maps Grant

  11. .......and i saw you Peter, for a split second, while getting towed at 60mph on a 4 foot tow rope in a STI RA with no battery power and cr*p all over the windscreen. Enjoy the Scoob wee man, now that the coolant prefers to stay in the engine block. Grant
  12. I should not really say this but Imy has her own booster cushion when she drives a Subaru, helps her see over that bloody scoop. Though she is the best female driver i have ever had the pleasure of sitting in with, just a tad ickle with a problem seeing over that bloody scoop on the bonnet. Grant
  13. I can't see how the traffic can use cars that are not road legal, if they pulled and did you the evidence would not stand up in court. The police are there to uphold the laws not break them. They would have to be taxed, and registered like any other car. Image if one of them cars was involved in a major accident and it showed as unregistered, what a claim that would be. They may have 3 or 4 cars the same colour and make model and made to look the same. Just my 2p worth. Ed. Just what i was thinking. Grant
  14. Skoda Superb trawls the M74 looking for victims, GPK is the last 3 letters Defo a Skoda Superb and not an Octavia as some clown told me to look out for an Octavia. Difference between an Octavia and a Superb, about £60 and 3 points. Also a Silver Merc that floats about all over the place, GBY is the last 3 letters with 2 Avon ladies inside the vehicle. Grant
  15. Well i did not see you wave either!!!! Grant
  16. Very nice and the best of luck in the outside lane of the motorway driving your new car [] Grant

  18. Well said Reverend Wilkinson!! I also owned 2 of these fine machines, though i dont think any had the distinctive 22b chassis code First one was 990cc, top speed of 55 due to it enormous tyres on it, and crossed the River Clyde without the use of a bridge or ferry. Second one was a 1300 hard top model with a top speed of 90 and about 3 foot of play in the steering box. I know of one in Dumfries with an Alfa Romeo Twin Cam engine in it and can top 130, only brave men need apply Grant
  19. Ever wondered what happened to the old Grp B cars after they banned them. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-5...p;q=rally+cross Grant
