  1. If they want my keys, good chance they are still sitting in the ignition due to short term memory loss problems
  2. Do not think the Show and Shine brigade will enjoy the Forest Drive as much as we would. I have doen that stretch of road in the works van at a fair rate of knots I am defo up for an overnighter in a tent. Do the route on the Saturday and set up camp in the Glen and head up to Whitburn for another run on the Sunday
  3. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-1...ports+is%3Afree 1hr 21mins of pure Grp B
  4. Ye ken yer undergrowth there Mr Bus
  5. Sorry for the unauthorized pi$$ stop at Glenshee which led to this unforunate incident I must say you have balls of steel carrying on for another 300 plus miles on that rim but at the end of the day it held together. I can guarentee that the next run will NOT have any snow covered boulders
  6. Diplomatic as ever James I like your style
  7. Only 3 people know that. Starts in Whitburn in the central belt and heads towards some of the best roads in the UK* *according to the caterham owners club
  8. Advise on this part would be book the car into AndyF after the decat is fitted. He would be able to check the car is still fuelling safely and not Detting it knackers off. If the car responds favourably to the decat, shows no sign of uncontrolable Det and the fuelling is safe enough then a remap is not an immediate neccecity. If the car is leaning off too much or shows signs of det then a remap would be the best course of action. I think it should be cool if you are leaving one of the cats in there and not touching the induction side of things. Major problems are more likely to occur if you fully decat the car and run a cone filter on a std ECU The reason you can stay up with the big boys in a std car is you can drive mate, imagine if the big boys had the talent to match thier horse power.........[flame suit on]
  9. I think Andy may have hit the nail on the head. Run it on both days and overnight camping in one of the Glens we pass through both days. I would more than definetly be up for doing the route both days This needs a bit more thinking power but i reckon i would be possible and please everyone available on that weekend.
  10. The stops were a fine balancing point so all the groups could at least have a 10 mins together after the Slow goup arrives and before the Psycho group heads off again. 13mpg........result boss...........thats one in the eye for the Greenpeace brigade. I think i was about similer due to a dieing induction kit but she still went well
  11. The area, route and format has been decided for the next run around the countryside in pointless pursuit of burning V-Power.. The decision required by the masses is wether the run happens on the Saturday the 2nd of June or Sunday the 3rd of June The run will be starting form the Lidl at Whitburn in the Central belt and distance from start to finish is approx 220 miles Squirrel ................................Either
  12. Dale, i can burn a copy to CD and post it up or keep it till the next time our paths cross Andy, What size of file would you require? and thank you for your kind offer indeed? Col, the wee camera does no too bad and has been tested at stupid speeds and acceleration tests, so looking forward to some Calcam style shots in the summer. The effect is indeed the strap flaping aboot like a whores knickers
  13. That snow plough came in very handy Imy !! Shame he had to slow us right down and we'd no option but to overtake [:$] Grant, you are a legend, this video i've been looking forward to since we left Tomintoul on Sunday and it's as good as I expected to to be, if not better [y] If it was not for the people who made the effort of attending then the video would have been really short and consisted entirely of me pulling my twanger at the Tesco's in Perth.
  14. Thanks Andy On the choice of that tune, tried others but it seemed to fit well. The timing of Pauls pop against the timing of the tune was a right pain on the a$$ but makes me smile when i see it work so well. I heard the other tune on the radio today and thought "oh yes, that'll do nicely" Tried to use a Trial version of the Sony Vegas editing software.............What a pile of poo that was, although with more time i think i could use it to good effect
