  4. Any jobs going at your place? I would work for free, make the tea, lick the floor ETC, ETC Thanks for the passenger ride in a SL55 AMG witha spec sheet longer than my arm That experience will stay with me for a long time Couple of questions, sir if you please How the hell did you get that job? How much was that Black Beast worth? How much fuel did you burn on the test drive? Was that you i was chatting to briefly in the Clio at KH? Did you find out what whoosh that Beast runs at? I need all the details and specs on that Beast to pass on to the grandweans!!!!!! Cheers Grant
  5. I dont stay there as such but do visit Dumfries every day, pick up from Gates Power and would say that there doesn't seem to be any more or less Impreza's than other places, saying that there is a beautiful import Series McRae out at Lochmaben, next to the Glanbia. One day is saw the guy herd cattle with it, by far the strangest use of a Scoob i have ever seen I will say that Dumfries and Galloway has some of the best driving roads in the UK but has the sneakiest traffic cops, 9 points on my licence and not one of them to do with the Subaru, and some of the most dittery, stupidist, ignorant and downright should be in a nursing home, old farts in the whole world Grant 3 favourite roads in D+G Lockerbie to Eskdalemuir Eskdalemuir to Langholm Langholm to Lockerbie When the Shell garage was at Lockerbie i done that triangle four times burning a full tank, back to Lockerbie to fill up then home............................. Awesome
  6. The SIDC would win against the MLR for 2 reasons Go-Karts dont have more procesing power than NASA to control the back end and 2 i only weigh ten ounces, so we will have a better power to weight ratio Grant
  7. The owner of East Linton Services, Chris is a top man and knows his stuff with the flat 4 Grant

  11. At the new Audi centre they have built at Braehead is a Grp B Quattro and a BTCC Quattro, not confirmed this as i only spotted them while passing Braehead on the M8 Heading over this afternoon for a closer look in my own "subtle" rally slag, dressed head to toe in anything Subaru that i own, to really annoy them I.E Subaru World Rally Team hat SWRT Replica Crewshirt SWRT Replica Makkinen Jacket SWRT Heavywieght Winter Jacket 2x Prodrive Tee-shirts...................... Well it is chilly SWRT Pass holder (v.rare as JDM only) I will buy an over priced coffee with my SWRT wallet exposed I will put my car keys down when i buy said over priced coffee to show my tiny SWRT key ring Sad i know but it will ensure they know where my allegiances lie and not try and sell me an overpriced tarted up VW that is made of iron and runs on cow sh*t, IMHO Will take some piccies of the Grp B car, which i hope is the real deal and the BTCC doo-dah, hoping that it is Frank Biela's car Grant

  14. Is that not spot on the nose for a PPP jobby type thing I would like Andyjdmsti to take his on the rollers for a comparison between top end UK and top end Jap Always a good feeling to burst the hole off of 300 horses Grant
  15. Meet at the services at the M74 at 1400 Same as last time Grant
  16. I am going for a wee blast in the sticks on Sunday Anyone fancy joining me, nothing major just a wee blat round some nice quiet roads and a wee cuppa Same roads as the last Jaunt, for those who were there will know the testify to the quality of the roads Grant
  17. Not a Bug-eye owner as such Go for a properly sorted imported late classic or fugly IMHO Try "Andyjdmsti" for a product review on the difference between the import fugly and a UK fugly I went from a Honda to a Scoob, grin factor is the same if not a wee bit better but the speed the fuel guage drops is astonishing {whisper mode on} The Subarus engine is not as tolerant to excessive track use as the Honda unless you spend some pennies on it {whisper mode off} You will fall in love with the noise from the Zorst and the lady at the Shell garage Go for it Cal Grant (What do i know)
  18. << That is an S2 RSt Caz. Not bad cars if you don't want to go round corners. >> I think the car in the pic is a Escort 1.6 ghia with a S2 bodykit on it which compared with my P.O.S is GORGEOUS Punch me if i am wrong Carl Grant
  19. Thank god i have no photos of that P.O.S Grant
  20. Yes it twas i We all make mistakes and that P.O.S was my biggest one ever Had the notion of being a Traffic copper type and taping some "duels", so i stuck a small colour camara on to the rear towing eye i the hope of catching some quality footage, mistake was i should have put the camara on the front of the car as i never had a hope in hell of beating Miss daisy in that P.O.S Full spec Ford Orion 1.6 Ghia 1600cc CVH approx 90hp less the oil ingress into the cylinders so say about 70 odd Full amateur respray in Ford Citrine Yellow Stil Auto 15 inch alloys Momo steering wheel Peco Big Bore 4 backbox 1600e Gray leather interior Various bits of the dash randomly sprayed in Plasticote Yellow, again in an amateur fashion Vent to Atmosphere oil cap, as the pressure in the crankcase was blowing the crankshaft oil seal out on regular occurances 4 speed 1.3 Escort gearbox fitted to aid accelaration £200 five inch colour monitor with £10.99 caravan TV ariel on the rear parcel shelf 240v house VCR with invertor wired into monitor £50 Colour CCTV camara, B+Q, wired into video EVERY single mechanical and electrical component that could fail, did fail and was replaced WRC No1 can add if missed any abnomilies as he witnessed it in the flesh and was roped into working on it on numerous occasions. Christ that is how i first met him .............. I bought it for £500 and sold it to a king chavster for £800, he really thought it was the bees knees Now i have "cleansed" my soul, now for you lot to confess, what is your worst car that you have modified in a very wrong way Some of the 30+ generation im sure can come with a few Capri with tigerskin dash stories Grant {and if i could go a smiley with 2 fingers up i would}
  21. Also the boys in blue have 2 Honda ST1100 Pan European, could not catch the regi off them as i was doing a ton on the other side of the M74, 1 is metallic burgendy and the other is metallic blue Dressed all in black with white helmets Grant
