I always drive with extreme caution. Thats what the turbo boost button is for ......... to get past the high-siders before they fall over. I seen a van topple over on the flyover at the airport. Grant -

No probs mate. I am sure i will get rid of it without ot much hassle. I will investigate the Barras market on Saterday to see if the can produce Glasgow copies. New GT4 is a DVD9 which is dual layer and a bit trickier to copy at 6.6.gb. Grant

<< messiah 3 switchable chip compatible? if so how much for unt copy? cheers >> It should work on the Messiah 3 as my machine is a Messiah 1 chip and it ran cool. I paid 37 pounds for the game plus 7 pounds delivery so if you offer me something in that sort off region. I never paid any import tax on the first game that arrived through the post from Japan. This game should arrive Wedensday or Thurs, hopefully. When it arrives i will post up here and if you still want it, give me a shout. Grant

Anyone who has a "chipped" PS2 buy the Jap version of GT4. The main items on the menu are in English with a very helpful website that translates the rest so its a doddle to navigate and get started. All the Impreza range is there, well the performance models, V1 STI, V2 STI, V3 STI Type R, V4 STI, V5 STI, V6 STI Type R, V4 STI Wagon, 22B, V7 STI (bugeye), V8 STI (blobeye) and more apparently. First car i bought was a Toyota Levin AE-86 (Corrolla). Started off at an astmatic 130ps now running a fine 230hp with a HKS twin plate clutch and LSD. Second car i bought was a second hand WRX STI Version 2 with 77000kms on the clock. Started off at 275ps now running a healthy 480ps. The representation of the handling is second to none with minor differences in each of the cars handling slightly diffrently. Taking a Merc 190e 2.5 Cosworth round the Nordschlieffe is a white knuckle ride in the extreme, switch off the traction control and stability management and the fun gets better. Over 700 cars ranging from a 1949 VW Beetle through to the new M5 Beemer. Rally cars ranging from the T16 205 to the Series 10 Impreza Over 100 tracks including the Lemans circuit and the old Nurburgring. There is no online play as such but it can be done through Kai-link so world domination might become an issue. Point of post i will have an original Jap copy of this game arriving during the week. Ordered off Ebay under the impression the item was located in the UK it turns out it is coming from Hong Kong. So if anyone has a chipped PS2 and would like a copy of GT4 before everybody else then give me a shout. Grant

Whats YOUR favourite driving road?????

<< The 24 mile circuit of "Moi Island!!" (Its moin you know!!) More manx type tarmac than the Nureinburgring but theres many a "Fangio", Marquis, Chav, and wee inexperienced boy in a 1430 mini been pulled out of a field by a John Deere, the farmers silence being bought with the promise of paying for the fence and a bottle of Single Malt. There are 3 other circuits incorporated in this, the 11 mile south circuit, The 8 mile north circuit ( Record 7min 4 sec held by a craggy faced middle aged fellow with a faded tan) including the infamous Balianally Straights where 145 whatever can be reached and the " Full Cresta" being the rollercoaster ride of your life round the 24 miles. Not wanting to draw attention to spirited driving, The Islands finest can be located via a Mobile call and the circuit chosen accordingly. I obviously have no experience of this, its only what Ive heard. Draw your own conclusions...... Callum, High Protector and Guardian of Bute >> Please tell me there is a Shell garage on the island for the loverly Optimax. If so then i will be there in the summer. Sounds just like Millport except bigger, just over 7 mins in a shed of an Orion by some skinny looking freak............................................................................................. Tyre outlets around Motherwell - Glasgow area?
the squiggle replied to Marky-San's topic in Scottish Scoobies
Motorsport wheels out in Cambuslang are the main distributers of Toyo tyres. They dont normally sell to the general public but if you tell them you are a self employed mechanic it will work out. The last time i bought 17's for the Honda and they were only £55 each as opposed to £100 from Hi-Q. Grant -

The wheels that were designed fior the car are the best for the job. I like my gold STI wheels and i like the way it handles because of them. Grant -

Thats a good boy now roll over and i will scratch your tummy. At least he is not named after a Gladiator, ITV not Roman. Grant -

<< All I know are my Radius R3s are heavier than Andy's wallet!!! But I am a tart at heart!! >> Heavier than Andy's wallet now come on thats just being silly. IMHO the best wheels for a Scoob are the Rays Engineering 16 inch alloys that were std fit on the S201. They were made by Volk and i believed there were based on the TE-37 but were lighter in colour with the STI centre cap. http://www.subaru-sti.co.jp/product/s201/ The tart bit is completely true. No arguments there at all. Grant -

I have a side side exit that scares the bee-jeesus out of the old biddies in the sheltered homes. Since you are not mentally ill with an I.Q lower than your shoe size this will not suit you. Grant
