  1. I have the asymmetrics on my WRX wagon, excellent grip even in the wet also good wear, they are way ahead of whatever subaru supply as oem.
  2. I've been using the RC version for months and everything i've tried works, really fast and no problems with games and stuff. I will be replacing my power pc G5 Mac in the new year with a shiny new PC and W7.
  3. Hi there, Stewarty is correct you need to stick with MS office, i've not used MS office for years and lost touch with how it functions.
  4. I have no idea why people pay for MS office when you can use openoffice for free, i have it on 6 pc's and 1 mac in work and use it at home.
  5. Right i've had enough of this guy, too many reasons to list, if you feel the same way can you please sing the following petition and pass it on or post it elsewhere. Petition for Gordon Brown to resign
  6. I also have a wagon (07) with Ferodo DS2500 on the front they perform much better than the OEM's.
  7. A good way to do this is to make some space between the car in front then slam on the brakes then back on the gas, it's almost certain that he will lock up his brakes. Obv with your child on board this is not an option.
  8. I also get about £100 off by adding my dad as a named driver.
  9. Never asked for mine either, just got my renewal through £597.65 for my wagon Looks like i will have to change insurance co again.
  10. My whiteline control springs are noisy at low speed.
  11. Hi ED, these are cheaper than the DS2500? So £175 in total for front and rear pads?
  12. Thats extremely unlucky you must be gutted, hope the insurance get sorted quickly.
  13. Cool thanks for clearing that up, i'm up and down that road every day. I know what it's like not knowing to wave or not, many a time i've waved to another scooby and they just look back as if WTF. If i pass you again and don't wave it will be because i diden't see you in time.
  14. Thats pish, will keep my eyes open for it.
  15. My dads 66 and been driving a scooby for 10 years and he intends to drive it for many years to come.
  16. Hope the guy in the newage STI knows how much of a tit he is. Was driving home from work today at 15.45 from Hillington when i spotted a blue STI with young driver (25-30). Was thinking about giving a wave (you don't know whether to wave or not these days), went to lift my hand but the guy gave me the middle finger. Seriously you need to grow up, im not bothered about it as i suppose we all acted like a fanny at some time when we were younger, but you might do it to somone who is willing to do something about it. BTW really nice motor you have.
  17. Where abouts in Paisley are they, might be of use in the future.
  18. I was at my wits with the handling of my 07 WRX wagon to the point i was thinking about selling it. Got some whiteline stuff fitted (arb's, drop links, ALK and lower springs) and the geometry set up properly at hypertech, i love driving the car now and look forward driving the B class roads when i can. I woulden't say you need to fit all but at least think about the ABR's, drop links and geometry set up.
  19. My last car did this in 3rd, (2000 awd when it had about 20k on the clock). I would drop into 3rd and push it hard going up a steep hill i drove every day it would get to about 3k revs then the revs would climb but the car hardly increased in speed. I thought i was my imagination until it done the same on the motorway except this time it popped right out of 3rd to neutral. When i phoned the garage they told me to bring it in right away, turned out it needed a new 3rd gear.
  20. I just got eagle f1 asymmetric with the intention of changing the fronts only when worn. These tyres have amazing grip, if i get 10k from the fronts and 20k from the back i will be happy.
  21. It was mentioned in the daily mail few days ago. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11...st-drivers.html
  22. Hi, can anyone recommend where to get my front break pads supplied and fitted in the Hillington/Paisley area. Need them done ASAP as the are completely worn.
  23. Just to add the auction has ended. It's re-listed at a cheaper price. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...n%3D4%26ps%3D42
